Villa with spectacular views in tranquil location in the Jalon Valley

The south-facing villa, which was built in 2003, is on one level and has spectacular views of the mountains. The villa comprises a large lounge/diner with feature fireplace as well as a fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen with split level oven/hob, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. The master bedroom with en-suite shower room and king-size bed has doors opening directly onto the pool terrace area. There are also 2 twin rooms and a large, separate fully fitted shower room. Cot is available. Ceiling fans are fitted in the lounge and bedrooms. Satellite TV, DVD and hi-fi are provided, as well as a burglar alarm security system for your safety. Enclosed naya. There is a private kidney shaped pool, with steps, and surrounding sun terrace as well as ample patio furniture. There is a separate rear terrace with patio furniture and BBQ. Central heating is available at extra cost. The villa is managed by an English couple.

Local Resorts

The typical unspoilt Spanish villages of Alcalali and Orba are 5 mins drive away, where you will find local bars, shops and restaurants and wonderful, inexpensive meals can be enjoyed. Why pay more on the coast! Denia with its beautiful sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife is only 25 mins drive. Other beach resorts can be found at Javea, Moraira and Calpe, all of which are approximately 25/30 mins drive. For bargains and more informal shopping there are numerous local markets. The area is an excellent location for walking and cycling. Alicante and Valencia airports are just over an hour away.

Attractions

The sunsets can be beautiful in this area, so a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day is to sit on the pool terrace - with a drink - and watch the sun set behind the mountains. For golf enthusiasts there are several golf courses nearby. Day trips in the area include Vergel Safari Park, Mundomar (exotic Animal Park), Aqualandia (water Fun Park) and Terra Mitica (theme park). Local sports at Denia include scuba diving, snorkelling, boat trips, jet skis and quad bikes. The Moorish village of Guadalest, the Algar Falls and the caves at Benidoleig are also within easy reach. A car is, therefore, essential to enjoy your holiday. The local bodegas in Jalon are famous and are excellent places for wine-tasting! There is also an internet cafe in Jalon. For a special evening, visit the Benidorm Palace for dinner and a spectacular cabaret show.
