Aum Villa is a delightful, WHEELCHAIR accessible holiday home near Alicante in Spain. Aum Villa is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. An atmosphere of tranquility is about the place, an ideal peaceful retreat. You can drive to the beaches, shops, golf course, Torevieja, Guadamar etc within minutes. Aum Villa has 2 bedrooms BOTH WITH ENSUITE BATHROOMS. The larger bathroom has been modified to suit wheel chair users which includes items such as grab rails, shower chair etc. Aum Villa is full equipped with all the day to day essentials that are needed and of excellent quality bought for personal use. Lounge/dining room has quality furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons. The utility section is in the back garden. The back garden has a patio and beautifully designed, growing exotic plants. You can soak in the sun in the terezia, the varanda or the back garden. The large communal kidney shaped swimming pool is mirrored on the opposite side giving an excellent view

Aum Villa is located in a fast growing coastline town called Cuidad Quesada just 30 minutes drive from Alicante & Murcia in the south served by excellent road networks. Quesada is a busy modern town with all facilities, shops, restaurants, bars & celebrates wonderful colourful fiestas. 10 minutes drive away is the long, quiet, safe, beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach of Guardamar with numerous sea front restaurants & bars. Guardamar also has two beautiful parks, Alfonso XIII & Parque Reina Sofia, ideal for strolling down to the sea. Marquesa Golf course is 1/2 mile away & the excellent scenic Compomar Golf Course with restaurant 20 minute drive away near St Miguel. There is therapeutic Salt lakes, mud baths & wildlife including pink flamingos near Torrevieja & Fortuna Leana thermal waters. Young families can visit Terra Mitica (middle land)a Disney type theme park, an hour drive up the AP7 motorway, for a great day out. Torrevieja is excellent for shopping, siteseeing & strolling.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking plus some form of identification.
    The full payment is payable approx 8 weeks before arrival date. The £100 deposit will be refunded approx 4 weeks after departure on the conditions that:- the keys have been returned, no report of damage, breakage or missing items and on payment of 50 Euros for cleaning on departure to the agent. The accommodation is for 4 persons but 2 extra persons can sleep on the sofabed in the lounge. So a charge of £20 for each extra person per week is payable for extra cost of water, electricity and laundry.
    (Only in certain circumstances the payment of £100 deposit may be waived).

Notes: For a welcome pack e.g. milk, eggs, butter, bread and water on arrival, there will be a charge of 10 Euros payable to the agent on arrival. You will also need to give 50 Euros with the accommodation keys to the agent, as the Villa Aum is clean on arrival and cleaned at the end of your vacation. Please bring your own beach and pool towels as they are not provided. Air-conditioning can be switched to COOL in summer and WARM in winter. Gas and electric heaters are also avaible for winter at extra cost. Wheelchair bound person/s MUST be accompanied by a helper or member of family or friend who can look after them. Children and wheelchair bound persons must be supervised at all times and when using the communal pool. The Washing machine is in the utility area in the back garden where clothes can then be put straight on to the washing line in the sunshine. The accommodation is secure with surrounding high walls and gates but can still see the outside world from the elevated home.

LOCATION: Aum Villa is situated in a small community on a private road surrounded by orange and lemon groves, with private car parking at the front. A few miles away in the nature reserve there is wildlife including pink flamingos. Shops and beaches are close by only approx five minutes drive to the long, quiet, safe, beautiful Blue Flag sandy beaches of Guardamar & Campoamor. The main boulevard of Guardamar has numerous sea front restaurants and bars. You could also visit the promenade at Torevieja, where you can relax, shop or eat and drink in various restaurants and cafes. There are also plenty of shops; banks, restaurants and cafes in the modern town of Quesada a few minutes away. Quesada and Guardamar celebrate most of the colourful festivals of that area. Shop at bargain prices in various markets held on different days around Quesada. You will find dates of markets, places to visit and dates of festivals in the local English newspaper which you can buy in all newsagents of the area

Ski: You will see some young people wind-surfing at Guardamar beach. You can relax and watch them for hours or try it yourself.

Golf: Quesada's Marquasa Golf Course is close by and is an 18 hole par 72. The championship club of Villa Martin is 15 minutes drive away and is a challenging course for players of all abilities. Also, within 5 mins drive from there, there are two others, Las Ramblas, and Campoamor. Compoamor has a fantastic view of the ocean and the golf courses below. Approx 20 drive from Villa Aum. No handicap is required for these local courses. The world famous La Manga golf resort is a 30 min drive further south this has three 18-hole courses to choose from.

I had a wonderful holiday with my son and his family. I am a wheel chair user and going on a bit in age. I am so glad that I spent my time at Aum Villa and was taken out and about, knowing that I will be coming back to a home where all the facilities are there for me to use.
I recommend this place to anyone who is a wheel-chair user. You will love it there.

We had a great time at Aum Villa. Will be coming back again. The children loved sunbathing in the teresia and swimming in the kidney shaped pool. There was everything I needed there eg hair-dryer, electric chopper etc.
It was a fantastic holiday for me and my family.
One day it rained with red sand, which came from the Sahara I was told and everything was red. Amazing!

We had an absolute super time at Aum Villa. The villa for us was home from home. It was very comfortably furnished to meet all our family’s needs especially for the children (6 and 15 years old) - TV, DVD & board games as well as plenty of space for the kids to play.
Also I have to say often with villa's you need to buy everything including salt & pepper etc, but this house had a good selection of condiments & even charcoal for the barbecue so it was a great - we replenished what we used.
The house has excellent disability facilities & a good sized communal pool. The pool was always empty when we visited and is ideal for kids & adults. The neighbours were really friendly and we ended up inviting them around for a drink.
The Villa is only 10 minutes drive away from Guadamar beach- a fantastic long sandy beach, which was safe enough for the children to enjoy the sea and have endless fun building sand castles on. I have to say, this is one of my favourite beaches in Spain - great during the day for sunbathing & ideal in the evening for a stroll by the sea. Superb also for an early morning walk/jog. Guadamar also has some great restaurants.
Quesada village, which is only 5 minutes drive from the villa has some good restaurants, bars and a reasonable choice of shops, etc.
We took a flight from Birmingham to Murcia and the villa is an easy drive of no more than 30 to 45mins.
We had some great day trip to Torrevieja, Elche, Alicante, etc - we think Alicante is definitely worth a visit.
We have been to the Aum Villa twice so far & can’t wait to go again soon!
