This ground floor Spanish apartment with air conditioning offers the ideal setting for a self catering holiday on the Costa Blanca. The lounge and dining area has TV with a DVD and also a CD/radio player. The bedrooms both have ceiling fans and plenty of cupboard space the master bedroom also has a safe fitted. The kitchen is well equipped for those who wish to eat in, although with the many bars and restaurants in the area there is plenty of choice for eating out. There is a separate utility area with a washing machine and drying area. The patio overlooks parking and green area. You can walk to the local beaches at Playa del Cura and Los Locos. Local bars & shops are within a short walking distance.

Notes to the rental rates

• On booking the apartment, a non-returnable deposit of £100 is payable. 6 weeks before the arrival date, the full balance plus a £100 breakage/loss deposit is required. Towels are provided for use in the apartment but please bring your own beach/pool towels. Guests are asked to leave by 10am on the day of departure unless a different time has previously been agreed with the owners. There is a 45 euro cleaning / laundry charge payable at the end of your stay.

Local amenities

Local amenities are located a five minute walking distance away, there is a small supermarket, an Indian restaurant, fast food take-away and 3 pubs serving food. One of the pubs has an internet availability. Within ten minutes walking, there is Mercadona, Aldi and Champion. In the other direction, ten minutes walk towards the sea, brings you to another Mercadona. The hypermarket, Carrefour is worth a visit, and also the shopping centre which is next to it. Most shopping can be done in the local markets, which are definitely worth a look. On a Friday Torrevieja has one of the largest markets in Spain. The Aqua Park is open in the summer months between June and September and is not far from the apartment, (well worth a visit for the youngsters).

The coast

There are some lovely places to visit along the coast. Alicante has beautiful beaches with esplanades to stroll along. There are water sports to enjoy as well as numerous restaurants and bars. Further down the coast is Santa Pola, a very pretty Spanish seaside town and fishing port well worth a walk around. Guadamar is a lovely place to visit, with wonderful beaches to sunbathe on. Bars and restaurants are on the sea front at La Mata, which is a popular local beach. The promenade is always a busy place, where you can watch the world go by whilst having a relaxing drink or snack at one of the bars.

Golf Information:

You can leave the family at the beach and enjoy yourself away from them at one of Spain's many Golf courses. The Villamartin Championship Golf Course is located about two miles away. Also there are courses at Las Rambles and Campoamor which are a short distance away. Clubs may be hired, as well as electric buggies. You can finish the day with refreshments at the restaurants or clubhouses.
