These family owned apartments in this popular area of Costa Blanca have all the modern comforts of your own home. The two apartments, which are on the same development, can be rented separately or together - ideal for extended families where additional space/privacy is required - with the in laws, extended family or golf group. Our three bedroom (one double, two twin and one sofa bed), ground floor apartment has a private paved area to the front and balconies front and back. Our one bedroom (one double, one sofa bed), fifth (top) floor apartment has a private roof top solarium (perfect for sun worshippers!) with sea views, and a balcony overlooking the pool. The complex has a gated communal pool. Our local agent will meet you on arrival to hand over the keys and show you around the apartments.

This lovely three bedroom apartment is on the ground floor with a small balcony running the width of the lounge area above the small private paved area at the front of the property. There is also a small balcony opening from the second twin bedroom which looks out over to the sea. Being brand new the apartment is neatly decorated, with all mod cons, including TV, stereo and DVD player. The sofa in the lounge area turns into a double bed. One double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, one family bathroom and an en suite shower room to the double bedroom provide more than enough space for six, and sufficient for eight people. There is plenty of storage space and linen and towels are included (not beach towels). Parking is available on the road outside the apartment.

The apartments are a 15 minute drive or very frequent bus ride into TORREVIEJA - a fishing town with a newly refurbished marina, boasting 3km of walkways, relaxing cafes and an open air market which opens well into the night (summer only). Bus stops for buses to Torrevieja's central bus terminal are five minutes from the apartments. The nearest and most impressive beach, LA MATA, a beautiful blue flag spacious beach with cafes and a nature park, is a short five minute drive or 20 minute easy walk away. Torrevieja's many other Playas (beaches) are within easy reach of the apartments. Within a two minute walk from the apartments and in the same road are a well stocked Mercadona supermarket, internet cafe, bar and excursion company.

In addition to the rental price we quote above, we ask that you pay 75 Euros to our local representative to cover meet and greet, laundry and cleaning for up to four guests, with an additional 5 Euros for each guest above four. Included in price is use of our local rep. who can arrange airport transfers (including car seats for children unders six years), car hire, welcome packs, baby equipment hire and local knowledge.
  • A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve the dates requested and is non refundable. Balance to be paid eight weeks before you arrive. A breakage deposit of 100 Euros is required with final payment, which is refundable upon safe return of original keys and inspection of house.
  • Long lets available. Discounts for longer rentals (low and mid season only) are as follows - three and four weeks, 15% reduction

GETTING THERE:: FLIGHTS from most airports in the UK leave for Alicante and Murcia daily. The airports are served by major highway N332, which takes visitors to Miramar apartments. AIRPORT TRANSFER - If you would prefer to manage without a car or are picking your hire car up locally, our agent will arrange for you to be picked up from the airport, at a charge of about 40 Euros (car seats for children under six can be provided). CAR HIRE will allow you to tour the rest of the region at your leisure, providing you with personal means of transport to local attractions, more beaches, Aqua Park and to the large out of town supermarket. Our local reps can arrange car hire at competitive prices from the airport, or from Torrevieja, or you can do this online before your arrival. EXCURSIONS can be organised from the internet cafe opposite the apartments. PUBLIC TRANSPORT is sufficient such that some travellers rely on it. Bus stops for buses to La Mata and Torrevieja are five minutes from the apartment

LOCAL AREA:: The area is proud of its Blue Flag beaches which are a wonderfully relaxing way to spend a day, swimming, sunbathing and strolling along the promenades. All beaches have adjacent small cafes and bars allowing visitors to people watch and soak up the sea front atmosphere. A short drive away is the Aqua Park, with water slides and pools for all ages. Torrevieja salt flats are superb for bird watching and walking/cycling. The Costa Blanca benefits from 360 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 18C, making it an ideal holiday destination for the whole family the whole year round.

Ideal for our winter getaway

We booked a week in January 2008 to escape from the dismal British weather. The apartment was about 30 minutes drive from Alicante aiport and the directions we were given were spot on. We were met by Linda from Villa Vacations who was really friendly and helpful.
The apartment itself appears to be brand new and is well furnished with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay, including English satellite TV! It is a ground floor corner apartment with good security features. There are two balconies - one to the front and one to the rear which is where the pool is situated. The front balcony really was a sun trap and the loungers provided were just right for soaking up all that lovely winter sunshine.
The local shops, including an internet cafe, had all the provisions that we needed, including fresh bread. However there is also a huge Carrefour hypermarket 10 minutes drive away which sold just about everything including a section for good old British food.
We went to the beach at La Mata which was a 5 minute drive away with ample parking. It is a huge expanse of flat sandy beach with lots of bars and cafes on the front.
Driving in Torrevieja can be quite challenging due to all the one way systems and narrow streets, but there is a frequent local bus service instead should you not feel like a challenge!
We chose to eat out most nights and found a good variety of restaurants withing easy walking distance of the apartment.
As expected it was quiet for a winter break but we really enjoyed it and would definitely consider returning in the summer.

A good break for two oldies

A delightful new [2007] 1bed apartment with its own roof patio and about 20 minutes walk from the beach. As an elderly couple with mobility problems we specially appreciiated the lifts and the simple convenient layout - all we needed for a comfortable stay was there, including a well equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning and a delightful swimming pool. We also appreciated the inconspicuous security provisions.
There were some small shops and restaurants just across the road that met most of our needs though vegetables were fresher in the supermarket about 15 mins walk away.
The local manager met us, saw us settled in and called again durng the week to see that all was well - he was most helpful with local advice which we amplified from a generous provision of guide books and this helped us to plan a week full of local colour. Torrevieja has an interesting history and, despite the march of tourism, still carries the flavour of times past. We certainly hope to come again and extend our explorations into the hinterland and have already recommended it to our friends.
