A larger than average beautifully positioned 1st Floor Apartment in a very attractive and accessible residential area of Torrevieja. The location is ideal for holidays or for property search. With accommodation for 5 people it overlooks the swimming pool and has a sea view. The superb sandy beach of La Mata is within 500 metres and Torrevieja town is only a few minutes away by car or local bus which stops nearby. The property has its own private parking space and is close to a Supermarket, restaurants, shops, pharmacy, internet cafe and all facilities. The Apartment is furnished to a high standard (including ENGLISH SAT TV) and all necessary equipment is provided as well as cooling fans and a smoke alarm. No additional charges for electricity cleaning etc. On arrival you will be met at the Apartment by our English Keyholder with the keys at a pre-arranged time and you will have been supplied with their contact telephone numbers so that there is 2-way communication at all times.

The Apartment is in a pleasant residential area of Torrevieja and is close to the finest beach at La Mata and ideally situated for access to the surrounding area or Torrevieja itself and all facilities. It is only 800 metres from the North/South coastal road (N332) from Alicante southwards to Cartagena and Murcia. This makes for easy access to the town in busy periods or as a bypass for other directions. The Apartment is in Avenida Torreblanca (100 metres past the Super Valu Supermarket on the R.H. side) which is the first road on the right after leaving the N332 by turning left from Alicante (right from Murcia). The left turn from the N332 is at the 2nd roundabout after passing through La Mata on the N332. From Murcia turn right at the first roundabout after passing Torrevieja on the N332. A bus service runs regularly to the town centre from a nearby stop and the property has its own private parking area. Restaurants, shops, pharmacy, and an internet cafe are all nearby.

Notes: There is a Double Bedroom and a Twin Bedroom PLUS A SEPARATE FULL SIZE COMFORTABLE SINGLE BED suitable for a person of up to 6 feet in height. This can be used in either bedroom or in the living area. The Bedrooms have ample wardrobe and drawer space. A number of English Satellite TV programmes are provided and a smoke alarm is fitted. The Bathroom has both a bath and a Shower. An Iron, Ironing Board & Clothes Airer are provided and the kitchen is well provided with china, glasses, crockery, saucepans, cutlery, utensils, basins etc. There is an electric kettle, toaster and coffee percolator. Arrival: We regret that we have recently had to suspend Airport Pickups by our Keyholder as the Spanish Authorities are no longer allowing pick-ups by non-taxis. Severe action by way of fines of 1500 Euros are being applied. Guests are therefore kindly requested either to take a taxi from the Airport to the Apartment or to hire a car at the Airport.

A lovely clean apartment with everything you could need (except a hair dryer and I forgot to take mine) Just a warning for the larger holiday maker, the double bed is small, but the rest of the apartment is spacious. Good value for the price. It is 10 mins walk from the beach and bars/restaurants. My Life Irish Pub does a very good steak, down the hill from the apartment then turn right up the hill and take the left fork at the main junction, the pub is on the right. There is also a very good Chinese restaurant on the fork of the junction. Quite hilly so maybe not suitable for those who can't walk far, but buses stop close by. There is a good market in La Mata on Wednesdays and big one in Torrevieja on Fridays.The owner and keyholders are very pleasant and helpful. Would use again if we stay in the area.

A beautiful place to spend your holiday

from 23 to 30 june we had a very good holiday in this apartment in Torrevieja. We stayed there with our two granddaughters from 6 years old. That was qualitytime for us. The communication with the owner was very good and the keyholders were very pleasant and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well equiped.
Also the pool was very clean and quiet. Everything we want was nearby: The supermarket (200m), a beautiful parc with waterfalls; and the beach (10 minute walk).
Perhaps an idea: It should be pleasant if there was a small barrow to take everything to the beach, because it was rather hilly.
We had a very good week in this area.

Lovely well equiped apartment. Very clean. Very quiet location. Plenty of hot water at all times. Washing machine was a good bonus. Very few english tourists about, a real taste of what Spain is really about. Pool very clean and mostly quiet. Good non - slip floor around pool ideal for little ones.
Very good supermarket very close by (closed on sunday) Not overly expensive and selling very good fresh fruit, veg, fish and meat. Perfect for self caterers. Bar near by that was ok ish but not overly friendly. but other bars an restaurants were a bit of a walk. This is away from all hussle and bussle and would recommend car hire. There is a bus service right outside though. The beach was about a 10 minute walk (a bit hilly) but the beach was lovely and very clean. The water was clean and warm.
The pick up service was excellent. Kevin is lovely and very helpful and was very prompt.
My one and only very little critisism is the balcony was a bit on the small side. You get the sun first thing in morning until around 2 in afternoon but sun is around pool all day. There are no sunbeds around pool which was a bit of a shame. Overall a very good quiet break. Very easy to book and communicate with. Definately recommend.

Excellent choice

The apartment is really much larger than it apprears especially in the living area picture and is very well equipped with good quality furnishings. There is plenty of room for a family or four adults.My wife has an allergy to rubber and found the apartment very suitable with its fully tiled flooring and wooden furniture.
There is a string of restaurants about 400 yards away in Carretera del Correjon. Left out of the apartment, right at the bottom of the hill and opposite the large large Irish pub. This includes Sophies World which offers good food and is also open until late on Sundays.
We hired a Fiat punto car for less than £50 for the week prebooked through Cartrawler web site at Murcia airport. As well as being cheaper than taxi charges from the airport it allowed us freedom to explore the area. Taking out additional damage insurance is highly recommended but we had no difficulty with the car or traffic conditions.
We loved Guardamar and Torre de la Horadada in particular both of which we visited twice. Quite a number of shops and bars were not open for the season but this probably makes it easier to choose.
All in all we had a great holiday after a hard winter !

We can particularly recommend the appartment, the building and facilities and its appearance to all holiday makers. One little disadvantage is that this area of La Mata is not particularly flat for the elderly without transport.
Very good bus connections very near the apartment in both directions.
