La Mata is a small town near Torrevieja. Our apartment is well equipped and ideally located - less than 5 minutes walk to the long 16km famous sandy beach of La Mata plus a pool, including child’s paddling pool. LA Mata beach was recently voted the best beach in the Torrevieja area. Double bed/2 singles/sofabed. Bathroom, kitchen, washing machine, balcony. Travel cot, bedding, high chair etc Restaurants within walking distance as is the nearby supermarket. Tennis courts nearby. 4 golf courses in the area (Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas, La Marquesa) Water sports on the beach include pedaloes,banana rides and jet skis. Scuba diving is also available along the coast. Our visitors liked it so much they have returned for a second time. Mosquito free! - we have never been bitten in the area of La Mata (and my family normally attract mozzies)

Location: La Mata in Spain

Nearest Airport: Alicante at 40 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 125.0 Metres
The apartment is in Molino Blanco which is a couple of miles north of Torrevieja and near La Mata. It is about a 30 minute drive from Alicante airport and an hours drive from Murcia airport.

  • There is an additional cleaning and laundry charge of £35/week.
  • All rates quoted are per week letting (i.e. 7 days and 7 nights). Checkout is 11am on date of Departure ~ late departure time can be arranged, subject to availability. All reservations require cash or cheque. 50% payment secures booking plus final settlement of account 8 weeks prior to arrival date, payment in cheque or cash in Euros and Sterling.
    All rates include service charges (i.e light, water and heat etc..) £200 deposit returnable assuming no breakages or damage.

GOLF. TENNIS. : There are 4 excellent golf courses within a 20 minute drive. The golf courses are VILLAMARTIN, CAMPOAMOR, LA MARQUESA AND LA MANGA which is an hours drive away. There are 2 basic tennis courts a minutes walk from the apartment. Wimbledon they are not! but fine for fun.

Restaurants and supermarket: There are many restaurants to choose from. There is a good choice within walking distance from the apartment and others a short drive. We provide information on them. There is a good supermarket located a short walk from the apartment. We provide an information pack with advice and information on things to do, places to visit, important telephone numbers etc. We charge a £100 returnable deposit assuming no breakages or damage.
