This beautiful apartment is based in Orihuela Costa, just a short drive from Torrevieja & other popular areas such as Villamartin & Playa Flamenca. The apartment has 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin) with further sleeping space within the living room if required. There are 2 bathrooms adjacent to the bedrooms & both have a WC/wash basin with one having a bath/shower, the other a shower unit - excellent for larger group sizes! The kitchen has all the facilities you would expect, whilst the living area has dining facilities as well as a TV + DVD/Video. In addition to a balcony the property has a large, private roof solarium that is perfect for sunbathing or having a BBQ in the evening. 2 air conditioning units have also been installed. You also have access to 2 communal swimming pools which are approx 50 yards away and though not of Olympic proportions, it is great for a refreshing dip and great for kids.

Additional information about rental rates

  • These prices are the base price for the rental and will apply for parties 1-2 in size.
    During the LOW and MID seasons, parties of 3-4 will pay a £10 supplement (per week) or £20 per week if 5 or 6 in party.
    For the MID-HIGH and HIGH seasons, parties of 3-4 will pay a £15 supplement or £30 if 5 or 6 in party.
    For example, a party of 1 or 2 in Feb would pay £110, a party of 3 or 4 would pay £120 and 5 or 6 would pay £130 per week. Similarly, in July 1or 2 would pay £200, 3 or 4 would pay £215 and 5 or 6 would pay £230 p/w.
    In addition to the rental rate, an additional 20% deposit or a min of £75, whichever is greater (max £400) to cover breakages / damages that occur. All being well, this will be returned within 10 days of the rental being completed.
    The charge for cleaning is paid locally on arrival & is dependent upon group size - minimum 35 euros (based on 2) whilst the max is 50 euros (6). Arrivals after 10.30pm and before 8am will incur a meeting charge of 30 euros.
  • Before & after each let, any comments with regard to items not working or having been damaged are recorded. We may retain a proportion of your deposit if the apartment is left in an unsuitable condition - we ask that the apartment is left tidy in order that it only requires a standard clean but if our agents inform us that it was necessary to spend longer than normal we will retain this charge from your deposit - or that it is apparent that damage or breakages have occurred during the renters occupancy.

    Please note that even if the apartment is left tidy but it is apparent that smoking within the apartment has occurred, the full deposit will be retained.

    The Owner will advise of terms and conditions should you have to cancel your booking before the booking is confirmed.
  • We recognise that flights to / from the UK, particularly on budget airlines, may mean flight times are not ideal for 'standard' check-in/out arrangements and we try and be as flexible as we can to accommodate this.
    Generally speaking, we would ask that you vacate the apartment by no later than 11am on the day of your departure, whilst on the day or of your arrival you may not be able to access the apartment until 4pm onwards.

    However, if we can be more flexible, rest assured that we will and better still, there will be no extra charge. You should expect the above arrangements to be adhered to in the event of back-to-back rentals, which we will advise when you book.

    If there are any changes after you have booked and before your departure date, we’ll let you know before you leave or during your stay.

Getting about: We would recommend that you have your own car whilst renting this apartment and have managed to secure excellent rental rates for guests. Whether you are flying into Alicante or Murcia, your car will be waiting for you when you land for the short journey to the apartment. Then simply reverse the process for the flight home. Fuel in Spain is considerably cheaper than in the UK so take advantage and explore as much of the Costa Blanca as you can. Getting about is remarkably straightforward to an easy-to-follow road network although in order to assist with this, in the apartment you will find extensive directions to some of the major attractions as well as essential amenities.

Ihave just returned from a 9 day stay at the property in dream hills 2.Before leaving the UK i had had good communications with Ian regarding what the apartment had to offer and its location. I was met on arrival (as arranged) to find the apartment very clean and with a layout that would suit most people. I really liked the size of the rooftop solarium for sitting unbothered in the sun. The aircon was a welcome advatage in the bedroom at night. I know the area and found the location suited me very well but you do need a car to enjoy the surrounding area. There are a great many good shops;supermarkets;bars restaurantsand night clubs to enjoy within a 5~10km drive. The beaches are clean and most have lifeguards for peace of mind with children. Close to the property are 2 nice sized swimming pools with good lounging areas. All in all the property has everything you need to make your stay comfotable in a nice area wher you can soak up Spains wonderful sun !

Whilst a car isn't essential I would agree that if you really want to take advantage of the area then it is recommended. With some wonderful towns, beaches, bars, restaurants, etc all within such a short drive it would be a shame not to make the use of them. There are some maps in the property to make things easier.

As for the roof solarium, it is the bit of the property that everybody loves! It is big and has great, panoramic views but is also very private too. We've also made sure that whether you want to lounge in the sun or prefer to sit in the shade reading a book or having a bite to eat, you can.

You're right about the air-con as well Paul - it was more essential than ever this summer as it was the hottest for many years. We're glad that we have put air con in both bedrooms as well as the lounge!

Finally, I'm pleased that you felt everything went smoothyl re booking the apartment and being met there. We put a lot of effort into making sure it is as plain sailing as possible.

Great base for family fun.

We were visiting family and the apartment was perfect for us. There is plenty of space and as 4 adults and 2 children we were never under each others feet. There are plenty of facilities within walking distance such as shops bars restaurants pools and swings, but the beaches are a little further away. A car is not essential (as taxis are reasonable) but it affords you a little more freedom to roam. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and the apartment was a perfect home from home. We would recommend it to anyone and will use it for future visits.

The apartment was everything as described and more! The owner a pleasure to do business with. Every question was answered accurately and honestly. I found the area perfect for what I wanted, a nice quiet break. There was plenty to do if I wanted to and as I had a car was able to travel around the area very easily. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area and loads more further afield. It is very easy to navigate and drive around. I would recommend this property to anyone and will definitely be returning. Thanks to the owner for helping me have the perfect holiday!
Owner's Response: Thank you for this review Terry, we take the renting out of our property very seriously and to receive such glorious feedback makes it worthwhile.

Whilst we've been renting out for 18 months and have had quite a lot of rentals in that time, we don't rest on our laurels and are always willing to make improvements that will enhance the experience of our Guests.

For example, although it wasn't relevant for you as your party size was small, prior to your arrival we listened to feedback received from previous Guests said that although we had air-con in the main living area and double bedroom that it would also be nice to have it in the twin bedroom.

So, now we've got air-con throughout and we know that Guests due to go in this summer will be able to stay cool in what will of course be the warmest time of year.

We look forward to welcoming you back either later this year or next year!!

The property is very nice indeed and comfortable, located very close to shops and restaraunts. It is only a short drive to the beach from Los Altos and to Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca where you can find the night life.

Tha solarium is great with BBQ, tables and chairs and sun loungers.

I would recommend this property for your stay in this area of the Costa Blanca

A lovely time

From start to finish, our 5 days here went like clockwork.

We arrived on time at Murcia airport, getting the rental car was easy (thanks to the Owner for pointing us in the direction of companies that do full/full on fuel - we barely used what was in the car and would have cost us a lot of money to have had to pay for the whole tank of fuel), directions to the apartment were easy to follow and we were there within 20-25 mins.

The apartment itself is lovely, nicely furnished and very clean throughout and best of all it didn't feel as if we were stopping in someone's home, which I was bit concerned about.

There was only two of us but I'm sure that had there been more it would have been OK and the 2nd bathroom would be a real advantage. There is air con in most of the rooms, except the 2nd bedroom (that we didn't use) but I know the Owners intend to put a unit in there before the summer when it will be necessary.

We found the overall area to be really nice - it is the first time we've not done the hotel in a resort thing and what a difference! So much more relaxing, less hustle and bustle but then plenty to see and do on your doorstep.

We ate out every night, a few nights at the nearby bars / restaurants (how cheap is Chinese food in Spain?!) but also ventured a little further afield as well and had a really nice meal at Villamartin Plaza.

Booking the apartment was very easy, the Owner took the time to make sure that this was the right place for us, he issued the contract very quickly and paying was also easy to do (we paid by Internet Banking).

We were met on time by the keyholder who were very friendly and helpful (recommended supermarkets, restaurants, etc) and then again when we were leaving, they turned up on time.

The Owner then contacted us within a couple of days of us getting home and genuinely seemed to want any suggestions for improvements - nothing stuck out for me but it was nice to be asked!

We had a really good time and will definitely be booking directly with Owners again in the future and I would recommend this apartment to others.
