47J Dr Waksman, La Roselada. This cosy ground floor apartment built in a typical Spanish style and set in beautiful gardens with palm trees and a large grass area. It has a private terrace facing directly south attracting maximum sunshine all the year round. Fabulous for a winter stay when north facing apartments are suffering from winter weather. Tables chairs sun loungers and a BBQ are provided. A new bathroom & kitchen have been installed recently and the bathroom now has a big step in shower making it more suitable for the elderly and disabled. The beach of Playa de Los Locos is at the end of the road and bars and restaurants close by. No need for a car and we can arrange an airport transfer for you. A good English TV package has been installed. One of two apartments in the same complex. See property number 13070. This apartment sleeps maximum of four people. Torrevieja is a bustling town on the coast 40 minutes' drive South of Alicante and its international airport. The water park is a favourite attraction for younger visitors. Torrevieja can also be reached using the new motorway from Murcia airport, which has good flight connections from the UK. The locality of La Rosaleda is one of the older established areas in the north of the town and is very Spanish with its quaint little streets and tucked away places to eat and drink. The blue flag beach at Playa de los Locos is only a few hundred metres away.

Notes: There are two good sized bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with two singles. As the apartment is on the ground floor the terrace opens directly into the garden & is South facing. It is set in an enclosed complex of apartments and small houses built in a square around the gardens. The complex is accessed through a secure door and is therefore very safe. There is a telephone type door entry system for added security. There are sun loungers and table and chairs for your use on the terrace. If you prefer the beach to the garden it is just at the end of the road. If not BBQ on your own terrace. Additionally, the apartment has a DVD player. Please bring your favourites with you!! The English language TV package has just been upgraded and now includes a full digital selection of English channels plus 10 radio stations. There is one air conditioning unit in the lounge and ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms.

Local area: The apartment building is just a few hundred metres from the beautiful blue sea. The apartment block has it’s own secure door entry system, communal pool area for residents & guests only. Outside are numerous bars, pubs & restaurants on the sea front. The Aldea centre with its huge heated swimming pool, gymnasium & spa's is only a few minutes walk away & costs around €10 per day. A couple of small supermarkets are also walking distance with larger hypermarkets 10 minutes drive away.

Costa Blanca: The 'white coast' is famous for its wonderful climate, all year round. Even the Spanish claim that local inhabitants live up to 10 years longer than in the rest of Spain! It is named after the wonderful almond blossom that is the first of the year and is a beautiful sight in January through to March Facilities have improved dramatically in the last few years, particularly with the addition of motorway routes directly into the area & the growth of excellent, all-year round, golf clubs. Anyone who is looking to buy a property in the area should let me know at time of booking as I can arrange for an inspection of properties (new or resale) during your stay, through an English speaking local company, at no extra cost!

Information for golfers: Just south of Torrevieja is the Villamartin Championship Golf Course, which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities. If that was not enough to tempt the golfers, within 5 mins drive there are two more! Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Finally we have Campoamor, which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day! It is important to note that no handicap is required to play these courses.For the hard to please a 30 min drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort with three 18-hole courses to choose from. It is important to bring your handicap card (just in case)as well as plenty of sunscreen. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for!

This perfectly situated apartment is close to local facilities, shops, bars and the sea front with a handy bus service at the end of the road into the town and other beaches. The apartment which had everything we needed, is enclosed in a lovely, private oasis of a garden with a swimming pool, ideal for our 2 children of ages 10 and 5, and the grounds are secured. The surroundings are quiet and relaxing and was lovely to sit out on the south facing terrace especially in the evenings

The owners were extremely helpful and lovely people to meet, and we are now planning to return again next year. We highly recommend this property to anyone with a young family, or a couple who are looking for a quiet retreat!

"A nice holiday appartment for 4 persons and sleeping accodmodation in two separate rooms. Recommended escpesially for families with children.

The appartments are built as a courtyard (atrium) surrounding a small park with swimmingpool both for smaller children and adults. All appartments with entrance to this park.
Only tenants are given admission to the appartment area by a code system.
Due to regulations, the holiday resort should be "quiet" from eleven o'clock p.m., and it really was!

Our appartment, which had most of technical equipment including air condition, is situated approximately 5 - 10 minutes walk from both seaside, shops and restaurants.

The contact persons of the holiday resort were very helpful both considering e-mails by ordering and road descriptions. We arrived in Madrid by plane from Oslo,
and continued by car. We got extraordinary good assistance by phone the last miles to the holiday appartments."
