These 3 properties are situated on the outskirts of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca on the very popular urbanisation of Jardin Del Mar V. Jardin del Mar is in a complex of houses and 2 storey apartments, with designated pool areas, situated approx 5 min drive from Torrevieja town centre and beaches and about 30 miles from either Alicante or Murcia Airport. They are also ideally placed for a short golf break with four courses all within a 20min drive of the apartment.There are bars, restaurants, two supermarkets, the Habaneras shopping Centre, Aqua-park, Bowling Alley and a Sports Complex all within walking distance of this holiday rental property on the Costa Blanca.There is a 3 bed, 2 bathroom,2 solarium house available also nearby.This is a popular area close to salt lakes and nature parks, suitable for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop nearby with a regular bus service to the town centre and blue flag beaches. Everything is within easy access so car hire is not essential

Our ground floor duplex is on the outskirts of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca on the very popular urbanisation of Jardin Del Mar V. It has its own south facing walled patio, can accommodate a maximum of five and is available for either short or long term holiday lets throughout the year.It has a very sunny south facing patio and light and airy lounge. It has a fully equipped separate kitchen (Not American style) The lounge has a chaise lounge along with a 32inch LCD TV with English TV, IPod docking station, collection of music CD's, DVD player, collection of DVD's, a PS2 with 30 games, board games and books. There is also a dining area which seats 5. For your comfort ceiling fans are fitted in all rooms. All of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobes and plenty of storage space. Available for use - bucket/spades, sun parasol for beach, beach chairs, beach mats, inflatables.If needed there is a hot/cold air conditioning unit in the lounge on a meter.Travel Cot available FOC

It is situated next to the sea in the south of the Valencian Community and it boasts lots of beaches, a natural park and salt lakes where there is an abundance of flamingos and other wildlife. Due to the vicinity of the salt lakes, Torrevieja benefits from a microclimate that has been a long favourite with the Spanish and Nordic tourists who come year after year for its beneficial effects.

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLEANING CHARGE AND BEING MET AT THE PROPERTY WITH THE KEYS IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICES ABOVE (Though for departures/arrivals between the hours of 23.00 – 07.00 am there is a charge of 10euros payable locally) A booking deposit of 25% is required to reserve and the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. Changeover days are negotiable depending on existing reservations, midweek bookings accepted. Prices shown are per week for up to four guests, for a party of five there is small surcharge per week. Smoking on the terrace only, please. A damage and key deposit of £100 is required and will be returned after satisfactory inspection of the apartment. Payment may be made by personal cheque.
  • All bedding, hand towels, tea cloths and electricity are provided. (Air con is on a meter if needed, costs met by guests). The communal pool is close by with access by a key available in the duplex. There is a full time life guard in the months of July and August. Wi Fi available, please ask for details
  • Smoking on the terrace only, please. The front patio is fully enclosed with a lockable gate, important for those little ones!

Real value for money

Real value for money is a rare thing these days but this property was certainly it.It was imaculate, comfortable and very well equipped and situated. The owner was very flexible with arrival and departure times and responded quickly to any queries i had prior to our holiday. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished, the patio at front of property was quiet and a real suntrap.
There were plenty of places to eat within a short walk, also good amenities for the children, the pool was really nice and only 30 seconds away.
Shopping was no problem and for people like us who don't drive there was a taxi rank only few minutes walk away. taxi's were reasonably priced clean and friendly.
Basically we couldn't wish for much else from a holiday property, if we go back to torrivieja ( depending if family move from there) we will definately try and book this property again, it does exactly what the advert says it will.

Great place to stay

Apartment was exactly as described. Very clean and everything we needed was provided. Ideally situated, which meant we did not have to use car all the time. Plenty of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Jenny and Trevor were great offering plenty of advice and useful information. We would definitely recommend for a relaxing home from home holiday and would stay again.

'Just returned from a 2 week stay, fantastic apartment, very very clean, could eat off the floor! Lovely patio at front that catches the sun all day, Wi Fi enabled to catch up with those emails (sad I know) and also to check what is going on in the area (Fiestas etc) PS2 for the kids, Films, English TV, music, beach paraphernalia, air con, owners have thought of it all with guests comfort in mind. Would recommend, faultless'

Good description.

Property was in good order on arrival, nice patio area out front. Would have preferred it a little further from City centre but was happy with the property in general. Jacquie was very easy to deal with and answered all our questions before arrival.

The pool across the road was not for our use buy the pool we had access too was not far away at all and was nice, beach was a bit further away than expected but worth the visit as it was lovely.

Playa Flamenca which is 15 mins up the coast towards Murcia is stunning and well worth a visit aswell, they have a street market every Saturday and a lovely beach, lots of nice restaurants there aswell all in the same complex. Transport to this area is easy, bus costs around 1 Euro, taxi is a bit more expensive at 12 Euros.

Algorfa is Benijofar and Algorfa are around 10 mins in the other direction and again are lovely and quiet and well worth the visit.

In summary, i was happy with the apartment and the holiday, just wanted to be a bit further from the hustle and bustle. Definately book with Jacquie again though as very helpfull and oranises airport transfers and welcome packs.

My Son and his Fiancee stayed at a property in Playa Flamenca which was ideal and we wil be booking there next year.

Very happy customers...

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review Mike! Glad you and your parents had a good time! Being on the outskirts as we are, we feel we have the best of both worlds, it is a very quiet area, however the town is within an easy bus ride or 45min walk away. As mentioned on the advert the nearest beach is about 5 mins drive away or 40 mins walk and I’m so glad you enjoyed it. The largest weekly street market in Spain is on a Friday and about a 25mins walk from the apartment. The pool in the picture on the ad is ours, you may be interested to learn that we are to receive an extra tiled area around the pool to accommodate sun-beds more easily before the next season. Will book you into our other property at Playa Flamenca for May!
