The property is situated in a quiet residential area twelve minutes walk directly north of the Marina and Harbour. The two pools and garden area are in front of the property and maintained to a high standard. There is a large private patio being on a corner site which is ideal for dining out and sunbathing. The ground floor two bedroom apartment sleeps six people. There are two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. The large open plan lounge with double sofa bed is air conditioned and also has a ceiling fan. It leads onto the kitchen which is fully equipped. In the utility area outside is the washing machine adn sun loungers. The bathroom has a bath/shower w.c. basin and bidet.

Facilities: Within walking distance is the town centre of Torrevieja, the Marina and Harbour, which has international status as well as a fun-fair. There are three top 18 hole golf courses and sandy beaches nearby. Just a short walk away is a large hypermarket, a sports complex, a large children's park, a football stadium, a water park, cinemas and a bowling alley. In addition, the largest market in Spain is held here every Friday.

The Environment: The beaches of the Costa Blanca have been awarded the European Blue Flag for clean beaches and unpolluted water. The two salt lakes which surround Torrevieja create a wonderful climate all year round, and are beneficial for people with arthritis and chest problems. For many it's a daily routine to partake in a mud bath for the healing properties. The lakes are home to a host of wild life including large flocks of Flamingos.

Charming two bedroom duplex: Situated in a quiet residential area on a corner site, this is an ideal place to have a quiet family holiday in Torrevieja, but within easy access of all the facilities and attractions. There is a large private swimming pool and a separate children’s pool for the use of the residents. The holiday home sleeps 6 as there is a double sofa bed in the lounge. All rooms have ceiling and mobile fans. The large patio can be used for sunbathing and dining out.

The area of this property is not the best, very built up with dirty dustry streets with graffiti on the walls and it is moe than 12 minute walk to the harbour/marine moe like 25 mins. You would not feel safe at night walking around this area alone. The accommodation is very small I could not imagine 6 people staying there! It is very basic, the sat tv did not work it only had spanish channels, the sofa is the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on very hard and narrow covered in orange sheets. It was ok but I would not recommend the property or area to anyone, we spent a lot of money on taxi's to take us to restaurants and beaches. I did not feel it was value for money, very over priced for the standard of accommodation.
Owner's Response: In reply to the negative review I would like to make a few comments. I chose this property for rental because of its great situation. The properties from the beach front to the resedential Europa area are all high rise. Resedential Europa is the nearest to the beach in Torrevieja which consists of duplex properties and homes to mainly Spanish owners. For this reason the beautifully maintained communal pool areas are not full of rowdy holidaymakers as the residents are at work. The property is beside the new shopping complex Habeneras, Carrefour Hypermarket, the Casino, Pascha night club, the water park, Cinemas Bowling Alley and the lovely Park Naciones.The graffiti mentioned is mainly restricted to the high rise area.The streets are dusty as In any seaside town. The walk to the beach is 12 mins or longer depending on the route you take and the speed you walk.Safety is allways an issue at holiday resorts. Like Benidorm or Ibiza you just have to take care.
The property is of average size but the lounge and patio areas are a good size for entertaining. Normally families of four or less stay at the property ( except when my daughter and friends stay) but the sofa bed is in the lounge if needed but as yet I have not had a party of six. There is no extra charge for its use. It was unfortunate that the t.v. only had Spanish channels but if it had been brought to the attention of my agent whose card is in the premises , he would have got it fixed. The T.V. has now been fixed and has a new box with 150 channels including sky news, bbc news, childrens cartoons and true movies. The sofa is very comfortable and is the width of a single bed. Although rarely used as a bed, my daughter and friends said it was very comfortable. The mentioned orange sheet was bought by my agent and is a proper sofa cover with ties at each arm. The suite is only two years old and the cover is protection from sunbathers sitting on it after having used sun tan lotion.
There are many good restaurants within 5 mins walking distance. My friend and I had a lovely Chinese meal which included a bottle of wine, a glass of Sangria and a liqueur, all for 18 euros inclusive.
There is a bus service at the end of the road which will take you into town.
The largest market in Spain is held at the end of the road every Friday.

Just back from a weeks holiday. After I booked it I read the review from the last guests but went just the same. The house was very nice, comfortable and clean. The T.V. had 150 channels, swimming pool directly in front of the properety. I found two lovely restaurants which were very reasonable and only a five minute walk from the property. The new Habeneras shopping complex is within walking distance. The harbour was stunning to walk along in the evenings. I will definately be back.
