The apartment is in a quiet complex on the 2nd floor. It offers a lovely swimming pool & has a large balcony. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets are all within a short walking distance. There is Irish (RTE 1 and RTE 2) and English TV with all the UK (BBC1, ITV, Channel 4) Sky Sports & Movie channels. Torreveija famous for its street markets and fiestas is just a 5 minute drive away. There are shopping complexes, water parks, Go Kart tracks and a daily fair ground in the town. The exceptional climate allows outdoor activities all year round with championship golf courses within 3 miles. Car hire is not an absolute necessity as there is a very good bus service in the area. However for those who wish to venture out a little then car his is recommended. Transfers from the airport are available.

• ABOVE WEEKLY RATES ARE INCLUSIVE OF AIR CONDITIONING COSTS.
  A €50 non refundable deposit is required upon booking the apartment with all final monies payable 4 weeks before your holiday commences. A 100.00 euros security deposit is required against any damage that may occur whilst you are renting our apartment. This is to be paid on arrival. This will be returned to you on your departure on confirmation that the apartment has been left in good order. Cleaning charges are €50 which are payable upon departure.

Location

Close by is the Orihuela Costa Resort leisure complex with its superb facilities including large pool, tennis courts, gymnasium, and sauna, bars and restaurant. Cartegena, Alicante, Elche, and Murcia are all within an hour's drive. Each town has its own special Spanish flavour and a visit is recommended. The theme park of 'Terra Mitica' is approximately one hour's drive away. Health: The area is ranked as ' the healthiest place in the world to live' by the World Health Organisation. The bracing sea air, together with the salt lakes encourages a variety of exotic wildlife - all on your doorstep. We are also surrounded by 4 international golf club within 5 minutes drive, Villamartin, Las ramblas and Campoamor, all on your doorstep. La Finca which will be holding the Spanish Open soon is even closer, only a 20 minute drive.The resort of La Manga is only a 45 minute drive away.

Car hire can be arranged from Alicante or Murcia Airports or in the resort. Transfers from both Alicante and Murcia Airports are available.

Terra Mitica Theme Park

Terra Mitica is the new Spanish Theme Park opened in July 2000. It is billed as the Mediterranean's largest theme park. On entering Terra Mitica you are swept back to the Mediterranean world of mythical civilisations to experience ancient legends and mysteries. You will become a roman, a Greek, an Egyptian and a Crusader or a Berber. The Park which is made up on 5 distinctive zones – Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia and The Islands – include amongst it s attractions the first dark rides of the kind in Europe. The size of the main mechanical attractions are unique both in size and layout. Golf Information:

Only a few minutes away are the championship golf courses of : Villamartin set in a pine forest the course has been used for many top professional tournaments. To achieve a par on this course you will require a good tee shot and accurate approach shot to the green. The clubhouse is very lively at lunchtimes, meals can be taken under a very large thatch or next to the open air swimming pool. Las Ramblas a very well planned course taking full advantage of the natural countryside. It features deep gorges, lakes, bridges and tick wooded areas. The tight fairways and long holes make this a true test of your golfing skills. The clubhouse has a very pleasant atmosphere with an open-air rooftop restaurant overlooking the golf course. Campoamor picturesque course set in a valley surrounded by breathtaking views of the hills. Probably the easiest of the three local courses due to it’s wide open fairways. Still demands good tee shots to give you any chance of making par. Greens and fairways are extremely well manicured. The course is very popular all year round, it is very important to book tee times on all these courses. Green fees tend to cost around thirty pounds and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. Golf buggies and clubs can be hired on all courses. La Marquesa & La Finca courses are also approximately 15 minutes drive, and La Manga is 45 minutes away.
