Luxury, stylish, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment overlooking pool

Stylish, quality, ground floor apartment. The complex was built in 2006 and of a unique design. This traffic free development is quiet and safe for kids. Fully equipped with the distinct advantage of air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom. There is a TV, DVD player and radio/CD player. The kitchen is fitted with granite worktops, Zanusssi built-in oven, ceramic hob and extractor fan, fridge-freezer, microwave oven and washing machine. We've even included a dishwasher so that there is no washing up! The Patio overlooks the gated communal pool. Ideally situated for those that want everything close to hand. Two minutes walk from the nearest newly opened Mercadona supermarket, 5 minutes stroll to the main shopping, restaurants and bars and newly opened commercial centre.The beach is a one kilometre stroll away straight down the road. There is a bar and restaurant on the rocks overlooking the sea, great to watch the sunset.

Los Altos is 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja. The apartment is on a development of Andalucian style, classy low rise buildings about 500 metres from the N332 coast road. Our apartment overlooks the communal pool and has its own small garden. Local restaurants, shops, garage, bars, banks and supermarkets at Punta Prima are all within very easy walking distance. A car isn't essential but would certainly add to your holiday as there are loads of great beaches within 10 minutes drive, further afield the historic cities of Cartagena, Elche Orihuela & Murcia are all worth a visit. If you prefer to use public transport there's an hourly bus service to Torrevieja costing a euro each way. Further afield (about 40 mins drive) there are the unspoilt, very scenic beaches at Calblanque with water so clear you can see fishes swimming round your feet. The Mar Menor and La Manga also merit exploring on a day trip. There are good motorway connections to both Alicante and Murcia Airport

Notes to the rental rates

  • There is a laundry/cleaning charge of 50 euros payable directly to the key holder on departure. Rental rates include towels and linen. Please provide your own beach towels. If you require transport to and from the airport this can be arranged at an additional charge of 70 euros (return) from Alicante and 60 euros retrun from Murcia. A cot is available on request.
    During peak season when there is a change over of occupants on the same day, to ensure that you have a clean, well presented apartment to move into we ask that you vacate the apartment by 10am and that your arrival should not be before 3pm. However there are facilities to store your luggage if needed.
  • Rates for longer term rentals over the winter period available on request.
    There is a new Mercadona Supermarket very close by but it is not open on Sundays during the off-peak months. If you are arriving late on a Saturday and would like a welcome pack of essentials, please let us know. (There are other supermarkets nearby that do open on Sundays during the peak holiday season).

You'll find there is a massive mirror over the wash basin with three spotlights over it which is great for doing your make-up and admiring how gorgeous you are with your Spanish sun tan. (or not, as the case may be) Bathroom 2 is fully tiled and has a massive mirror across one wall. Is has a corner shower, bidet, toilet and wash basin along with a cabinet for your toiletries.   • 1st Bedroom has very quiet air conditioning for a good night sleep during the hot summer months and an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom furniture is all dark wood to coordinate with the rest of the apartment. Furnishing consists of built-in wardrobe, two bedside cabinets and a large chest of drawers which gives you plenty of room for your clothes. There is a safe fitted for additional security of your holiday cash, passport and other valuables. In addition there are 2 Philips 1900 watt hair dryers so there's no need to bring your own. In the lounge there is a sofa bed if you need beds for an additional couple or in case someone is a snorer and you want some peace! A cot is available on request for those of you with young children. There is a floor standing fan in the second bedroom. You will need continental adaptors for any English appliances you bring with you.

This lovely apartment is furnished with the best quality furniture package from the highly thought of Masquemeubles emporium in Punta Prima which also furnished the showhouse on this prestigious development. The patio doors lead on to the large patio which is equipped with table and chairs overlooking the garden, and communal pool area. The patio area has built-in down lighters to provide ambient lighting for your evening drinks when the sun has gone down. There are 2 beach loungers and 2 beach chairs, 2 parasols and cool-box with four ice packs for jolly picnics on the beach but please bring your own beach towels. There is also an outside storage cupboard to store suitcases, golf clubs and all the other paraphernalia that you don´t need cluttering up the apartment. The apartment is strictly non smoking inside. The apartment is on the ground floor but there are four steps to the front door and nine from the patio to the lawn which may prove difficult for wheelchair users.

Golf Courses in the Area.

If you put in a web search for 'golf + Torrevieja ' it will bring up 1,100,000 results in 0.35 seconds and a further click on the results will tell you about the four main courses. All of which are within 10-15 minutes drive of our apartment. Brief details are as follows. If you want more information... do the web search above. You'll get phone, fax numbers and e-mail addresses together with price lists and photographs of what to look forward to. 'Villamartin is one of the best courses in Spain, probably the best in this region and also hosted the Spanish Open' Fore! magazine January 2000. Las Ramblas, the incredible water hazards-the ramblas-which make this golf course different from all the others in the area. Take plenty of balls. You'll need them'. Fore! magazine January 2000. La Finca, a new course opened in 2002. Campoamour, built in two valleys, lush fairways and fast greens with palm, pine and orange trees. Very smart clubhouse restaurant and bars.

Go-karting

There is a good Go-Karting circuit a mile or two down the N332 which will give you the opportunity to show everyone what the world missed when you decided not to go into motor racing as a profession! If you have never had a go at Go-Karting before you are missing out on a lot of fun. It is definitely worth having a go at least once. The Karts have a low centre of gravity and are very stable, so get your money out, your helmet on and give it a go! Beware if letting you kids have a go as they tend not to use brakes and worry their mothers!

Eating out.

You don't go on holiday to do all the cooking. Although the kitchen is equiped with all that you need to cook if you want to there are plenty of restaurants offering menus from all parts of the Globe in Torrevieja and prices that are not wallet busting! In easy walking distance are enough restaurants to last a week without eating in the same place twice. There is an impressive looking Japanese/Chinese restaurant housed in a traditional Chinese pagoda type building about 500m down the road if you want to spend a few bob on a special celebration meal. Alternatively there is the Nautilus restaurant overhanging the coastline if you want to walk the kilometre to the beach. If you drive up to Villamartin Plaza (10 minutes tops) there are umpteen restaurants, and I'd recommend going at least once. Eduardo's is quite a nice place but they are all of a good standard and the plaza itself does have a bit of a buzz about it.

Other Activities tennis courts 500m down the road, Go-Karting 1500m .

Golf Information:

You might want to book in advance from home to make sure you get to play where you want to, when you want to. Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and La Finca are the names to look out for. If you have the inclination to travel further La Manga is about 30-40 minutes to the south. The views over Campoamor are very nice and the terrace is a great place to have a beer and watch the sun go down.

My family has just returned from your Holiday Home and we rate your property as excellent its situation as being right by the pool has allowed the children non stop fun , we had the use of a car so were able to go to the beach which for those who wish to walk is not far anyway.As we know the area we found your Home was situated so that even a novice could have easily found their way round. After staying in many Holiday Homes over many years we are very impressed with the facilities you offer and it is virtually Home from Home. We hope to return next year and will recommend it to friends and family . Thanking you once more Sylvia l
