Situated 20 metres from the award winning blue flag beach of Los Locos, this luxury 3rd floor apartment can sleep up to 6 people and offers superb sea/beach views. Air-conditioned with LCD Flat screen TV (spanish channels) and DVD. The apartment comprises of 2 Bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge/dining area with patio doors to the balcony. The cream leather sofa unfolds to a fully sprung double bed if required. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric oven, hob, washing machine and microwave. The views from the balcony are truly breathtaking and 'ALFRESCO DINING' is sensational (especially with a bottle of wine!!). The apartment building provides a residents only swimming pool and paddling pool found at the rear with Astro turf surround, with an inner courtyard. The apartment block has a lift + staircase.

Playa Los Locos is situated on the north side of Torrevieja Town. Los Locos has a beautiful sandy blue flag beach with a gentle shallow decline, which makes this beach ideal for families. Los Locos is a 15 minute walk from the main town of Torrevieja which is ideal for walking off those late evening meals. This is an ideal location for both beach and town, as restaurants and bars are only a couple of minutes away and the main shopping area of Torrevieja is an easy stroll away. Los Locos is totally self sufficient and therefore there is no need to go anywhere else, but with Torrevieja so close you can choose to shop, sun bathe, golf or generally just relax.

Stayed here with a friend in Sept 2009. Graffiti ( not the artistic type) on the outside wall did not give a good first impression. The agent met us at the apartment and apologised for being late (her cat had been run over) She told us she hadn't had time to bring the washing in. I thought she meant at her own home, only to see on entering the apartment the washing hanging outside on the balcony. Not the welcome we were expecting. This was the meet and greet. Actually it just involved handing over the keys and showing us how to lock and unlock the doors. After the agent left, my friend decided to have a shower only to find there was no hot water. I called the agent and she explained how the system worked. No big deal you might think, but isn't that what the meet and greet is all about?
I had the double bed which was already made up. Unfortunately, the bedding was not clean. The bottom sheet was stained and had hairs on it. It was rough and bobbled and felt like sleeping on a bed of grit. We couldn't find any clean sheets so I layed my dressing gown on the bed and slept on that. The double room faces the main road which was particularly noisy early morning. My friend had the twin room which was very small, and the bed that was made had a broken head boardboard. The bathroom was small, cramped and grubby, as were the towels, tea towel and dishcloth in the kitchen. Glad I had taken my own.
Outside, the balcony shared its small space with the air con unit, a leaking plastic container catching the drips, and a mop. There was also a small rusting table and a couple of plastic chairs with just enough room for the two of us to sit and admire the wonderful view of the beach and sea. That, and having a couple of very good restaurants a few minutes walk away were the only positives for staying at this apartment.
For what we were charged for the cleaning prior to our arrival can't be justified.
This property is advertised as 'luxury beachfront apartment offering superb beach/sea views'. Yes, the view is lovely. But in my opinion 'luxury' apartment it is not.
I emailed the owner on our return to inform her of our findings. She said that she would follow it up. That was the last I heard.

I had forgetten to do comments so I do it now.
Is is a super appartement which is very well located. It is very clean.
The english correspondant is great and very pleasant.
The beach is in front of the appartement.

I had also a very good contact with the owner.

One only word : perfect !
