Torrevieja Town holiday apartment

This penthouse apartment has the most fantastic sea views of any we have stayed in.
To prove that I am not just a friend of the owner and writing this to push her rentals, I will start with a small "criticism". The apartment had no air conditioning and as it was 34-39 degrees C every day, the nights were too hot for a good sleep. Some complaint.
The views were stupendous.
Perfectly situated between Torreviejas two main beaches, Los Locos a 3minute walk and Del Cura a 5 minute walk, we found that the little patch of sand directly below us at Palangre was perfectly adequate if we needed a saltwater bath, or to get sand between our toes.We preferred to use the Jacuzzi on the solarium with superb views over the beach and along the coast.
There is a good supermarket two blocks away and Lidl is a 5 minute drive.
There are several good bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk and a 30 minute stroll will take you right to the harbour/market and funfair. Fridays however we strolled into town and spent some money in the Friday Market. It's huge and very easy to get to.
For a quiet night in Ulla has made a good selection of books and videos available which trebled our reading for the past five years..
Suffice to say, if and when we return to Torrevieja we will be in contact with Ulla again.
