Photos and Description of this Los Balcones holiday bungalow 2 BEDROOMS+DOUBLE SOFA BED, 1 BATHROOM, GARDEN, SLEEPS UP TO 6 PEOPLE

Situated in a pretty residential cul-de-sac in Los Balcones. Accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, one with super-king size bed, the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets. An electronic safe is provided. The living area comprises of a 3- seater settee with 2 armchairs, a double sofa bed, an extending dining table and wall unit + TV. The separate kitchen comprises of a full size oven with 4 ceramic hobs, large fridge-freezer, washing machine and appliances (electric kettle, toaster etc). Crockery, saucepans, utensils, and tea towels are provided. The bathroom is spacious containing bath with shower over, WC and wash basin. Outdoor living can be enjoyed on the private front terrace or tiled garden at ground level, or the very spacious private roof terrace, where views of the salt lakes and Torrievieja can be seen. The communal pool is a few steps away, accessible only by resident keyholders and tenants. Air-con/heating units fitted 07/05.

Mirador Los Balcones is an Urbanization on the outskirts of Torrievieja on the Costa Blanca boasting beautiful beaches, salt lakes, hypermarket, shopping centre, and famous golf courses. There are restaurants, shops, a bank and supermarket within a 10 minute walk, or a 10 minute bus journey (nearby bus stop) will take you to Torrievieja town and market. The nearby salt lakes (seen from the roof terrace of the bungalow) provide a haven for wildlife and boasts one of the healthiest areas in the world. There are several blue flag beaches around the area, a nearby water park, cinema and bowling complex. You can visit a casino, nightclubs, bars and restaurants in Torrievieja, or the seafront promenade for good food and sangria and watch the world go by. The Park of Nations can also be enjoyed by people of all ages, along with a variety of markets throughout the week. Torrievieja and the Costa Blanca are largely unspoilt compared to other parts of Spain and offer something for everyone.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are based on a 7 night stay for the property for up to 6 people. Please note, an additional charge will be applied during half-term school holidays which we are unable to show separately above (except for August). Details are available on request.
    A £75 deposit will secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks prior to departure.
    As with other rental properties, there will be a £100 refundable deposit required as security against breakages, damaged or missing items and is additional to the rental cost of the bungalow. This will be returned to you on satisfactory inspection of the property and safe return of keys.

    We are happy to accept midweek bookings at no extra cost and any number of nights - in fact, it often helps keep the flight prices down if you can stagger your arrival/departure days.
  • 10-day holidays? - have you ever thought one week is not long enough and two weeks too long? It seems there's never enough choice when it comes to 9,10 or 11-day holidays which is why we are happy to consider any number of days.

  • The bathroom is large and has a bath with shower over, wc and washbasin. There is glass shelf for storage of personal items, together with a mirrored vanity unit, also with some storage.

  • Bedroom 1 boasts a huge Super King-Size bed with large fitted wardrobes with sliding doors. There are two matching bedside cabinets either side of the bed. There is a digital electronic safe fixed inside the wardrobe to provide additional security of valuables and documents at no extra cost. The 'PIN' number is selected by you should you wish to take advantage of this facility. An air conditioning/heating unit has been installed and is operated by remote control. Bedroom 2 contains two twin standard size single beds with a bedside cabinet and matching chest of drawers. There is also a fitted wardrobe which contains an iron/ironing board providing laundry facilities for anyone who needs them. A mirror and coat hook complete the decor. An air conditioning/heating unit has been installed and is operated by remote control. The Living Area contains a double bed settee in addition to the normal 3-seater settee and 2 armchairs. There are two electric standard fans and two heaters.

Notes: Towels are provided, but please bring your own beach and poolside towels. Laundry facilities are provided enabling you full use of the washing machine and ironing facilities. The bungalow is built on one level. There is one step onto the property at the front gate, along with one step from the kitchen out into the utility area, although access to this area is not normally required. Other than this, the only other steps are those that lead up to the roof terrace. If you should feel you might be unable to access the roof terrace, then outdoor living may be enjoyed on the front terrace at ground floor level.

Property Access Arrangements: Approximately 1 week before your departure the keys and full directions from Alicante and Murcia airports will be provided. The bungalow can be accessed from 2.00pm on arrival day, and must be vacated by 10.30am on your day of departure. It may be possible to negotiate alternative times by request. If you do not wish to hire a car, airport transfers can normally be provided for you if you prefer which you will be asked to settle directly with the driver. A welcome pack consisting of a few basic items will also be arranged in time for your arrival to help get you started and settle in.

Torrevieja information: There are many web sites that will give you all the information you will need to help you decide if the Costa Blanca and Torrevieja's activities are right for your holiday. If you can't find what you're looking for or have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Golf: For any golf enthusiasts, what a choice! There are 5 beautiful 18-hole golf courses nearby. Tee times tend to get booked up quickly, especially during peak holiday times, so it is advisable to book your slots as soon as you know the dates you will be travelling. Quiet and Peaceful

This bungalow was exactly as described and was very clean. A welcome pack of bread - marg - milk - marmalade was waiting when we arrived. Plenty of storage space. A shopping trolly was also available for those heavy beers!! Free use of a safe was very useful. Roof solarium was huge and had adequate seating (not the most comfortable for spending a long time lounging).

The swimming pool was excellent and only just round the corner.

The local area had a shopping centre and although we were given short cuts to it - it did seem alot further than suggested. Plenty of eateries and a well stocked supermarket.

A very good bus service to Torrevieja town and quite cheap too.

The downside was that it seemed impossible to walk to Torrevieja unless you wanted to walk along a very busy road and then dice with death at bridge. Footpath was non existant.

The better walk was the other way to Los Altos and Punta Prima.

Overall a very nice place to stay.
Owner's Response: We are confident that our property is well equipped for the enjoyment and comfort of our guests. Ample seating is provided both inside and outside the property for up to 6 people.

Whilst most of our guests choose to hire a car, it is possible to get around by bus or on foot if you prefer, although walking any long distance in the heat is probably not a good idea.

However, there is a good choice of supermarkets, restaurants and bars within easy reach and walking distance from the bungalow at Los Balcones (approx 15 minutes), Los Altos (approx 15 minutes) and Punta Prima (approx 20 minutes). Also, Torrevieja can easily be reached by bus with a choice of 2 bus routes with nearby bus-stops (approx 20 minutes).
