Torrevija is about 47 kilometres from Alicante and 34kms from the airport to the villa, and benefits from 326 days a year sunshine with an average temperature of 18C. Among its welcoming and attractive features are the magnificent sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, squares, parks, gardens and natural beauty spots, historical monuments, golf clubs and the best Yacht club in Spain, flying clubs, all water sports, football and sports stadiums. water park, fairground, theatre and cinemas, in short something for everyone. There is an excellent bus service along the coast to and from Torrevieja and local towns. The new Habaneras shopping centre is a 10 mins drive away and boasts some very fashionable stores, and bars, restaurants and cafes. There is a ten pin bowling alley there and also a casino and large Carrefours hypermarket.
