What an ideal location for a golfing holiday! The following is a description of La Marquesa Golf and Country Club, literally two minutes down the road: “It is located in a flat valley between mountains, and the layout of the round alternates between long holes and short ones. It is not excessively difficult and so players of all levels will enjoy it. The round is bordered by streams and lakes, which gives the course excellent views and provides beautiful natural surroundings to play in.
The better players might find it a bit too easy, but the majority will find it very pleasant and will enjoy the excellent walk in a magnificent part of the country. The varied and pleasant round is lined with pines and palm trees. A wonderful location offering a very pleasant temperature both in summer and in winter.” Other excellent courses at La Finca, Villamartin, Campoamor, and Las Ramblas are all within a twenty minute drive.
The Costa Blanca Region:
Costa Blanca, literally the ‘White Coast’ is so named because of its many fine white sandy beaches - many, including nearby, Guardamar, flying the Blue Flag. An average of 320 days sunshine and average temperatures of 15ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer make this an ideal all year round holiday destination. Due to the health giving properties of the salt lakes combined with the climate, the World Health Organisation rates this particular section of the Costa Blanca one of the healthiest places in the world to live. You will no doubt want to spend time relaxing around the villa and pool but, although not essential, hiring a car for at least part of your stay will enable you to appreciate even more what a lovely part of Spain this is and how much there is to see and do. Spanish roads are excellent and the drivers are courteous. We are able to obtain discounts on car-hire for you and can supply details on request.

To find Quesada on a map of the Costs Blanca, first locate Guardamar del Segura, on the coast south of Alicante but north of Torrevieja; Four miles inland is Rojales, with Quesada adjoining (although it will only appear on a large-scale map). For flights, we are ideally situated approximately mid-way between Alicante and Murcia airports, giving you a choice of low-cost airlines flying to both destinations from all parts of the UK.
The area has an excellent road network, and detailed directions will be forwarded on receipt of the final payment. For those preferring to be met at the airport and driven to the villa this can be arranged and, should you wish to hire a car later during the course of your stay, there are three companies within Quesada/Rojales.
