Quesada holiday villa

My wife and I have just returned from a holiday at this villa. We were recommended to this property by friends who had stayed there previously.

I was very pleased with the friendly way our booking was handled by the owners, Tony and Irena Witts.
I found them to be both helpful and willing to share their knowledge of their Holiday home and also the area, so that we could make the most of our visit.

The villa was spotlessly clean and well looked after and the gardens have now matured a bit more than the pictures you see on the website. Along with neighbouring properties and gardens this gives the location a more green and lush setting
It is located in a very quiet residential cul-de sac with high quality properties all around. We felt very safe and secure.

The TV had over 30 channels so we could keep up to date with all the news back in the UK and, more importantly, my wife could keep up to date with the soaps.

We did manage to get into the pool quite frequently and the water was nice and warm - we visited mid September

You do need to hire a car to get the most out of any stay as there are many places to visit nearby.

There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby (short 5 minutes drive) and our favourites were the 222 and the Laguna Hotel both at Dona Pepa (The smart and upmarket Laguna Hotel had lunches at only 3 Euros)

We also had a taste of home at the Fish and chip restaurant in Quesada ( coming from Yorkshire we know about our Fish and chips and I have to say I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meal - I think it may be run by a family from the North of England. We found this at the end of our holiday and had we found it sooner we would have visited more than once - Cod and Chips, peas, tea, bread and butter for only 6.50 euros. Smashing!

We found the local supermarkets of Lidl and Consum to be good value, as well as the enormous Carrfour hypermarket in Torrevieja.

Now that we have got to know the area we are thinking of booking again for next year, but this time taking more of the family.

Overall, a lovely villa in a very nice location owned by friendly people who were a pleasure to deal with.
