This top floor, corner apartment, has double aspect light in the lounge/diner and hence has a light airy feel to it. It has a double bedroom and one with two single beds. It also has a metal frame Sofa Bed which makes sleeping six possible. The veranda benefits from morning sunshine and is a delightful place for breakfast. Blinds are fitted to keep sun out if required. The lounge/diner has 2 sofas and dining table & chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with Oven, Hob, Fridge freezer, Microwave, Washing Machine, Toaster, kettle etc. From the back door you ascend the spiral staircase to large roof terrace. This overlooks the nature reserve, with views to the mountains and sea. This terrace has the sun all day long and there is Sun Loungers and Table and Chairs to make the most of it. There is also a hose to cool off with!!! At the top of the staircase there is a gate to provide additional safety for young children. There are ceiling fans, and all windows have Insect Screens.

This property has the advantage of being close to Alicante Airport, walking distance to the Golden Sandy Beach, where we now have a decking style walkway to within 100feet of the sea, making access very easy. It is just a short stroll to the local bars and restaurants.(Both English & Spanish), and only 20 minutes by car from the vibrant city of Alicante, with it's stunning port area, great for day or night time, the Barrio (old part of city with dozens of bars). The retail therapy is also excellent at the Plaza Mar shopping complex. Just 10 minutes south is the typically Spanish Fishing port of Santa Pola. This town boasts a historical Castle, beautiful beaches, sea front restaurants, Pola Park for Children and the Salt lakes, which is a must for nature lovers. It is also central for many attractions. Benidorm is 45 minutes up the motorway, and the picturesque Guadalest is about an hour.

Gran Alacant - Down the Hill: This is ideal for both families and couples, with two pools, the children´s pool has a toddler area and slide. The nearest bars and restaurants are less than 2 minutes walk, but far enough away not to be noisy. There is a children's play area, tennis courts and gardens. The nearest beach is 10 minutes walk on flat ground, where you will find miles of golden sand, which is safe for children. During the season, there is a beach bar, sun beds and parasols for hire. Further along the coast road to Santa Pola, you will find rocky shoreline, ideal for snorkelling or fishing. Santa Pola is typically Spanish, with it´s markets on Monday & Saturday, more golden sand and relaxed pace of life. In comparison, Alicante is 15 minutes in opposite direction with plenty of nightlife and shopping. Benidorm is only 35 miles away with attractions like Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Benidorm Palace.

Transport: With Alicante airport 10 minutes away, and all facilities locally, including a bus service to Alicante and Santa Pola, a car is not a necessity. However, to explore the coast or go sight seeing, perhaps to Guadalest, car hire can be arranged from the Airport. This is cheaper if you pre-book on line, try Transfers from the Airport can be arranged if you prefer. These normally cost 20 euros. This is cheaper than a taxi, and there is no language problem or possibility of being dropped at the wrong Urbanisation.!! Definitely a stress free way to start your holiday. During the summer months we now have a Fun Train to take you all around Gran Alacant, including the beach, bars and restaurants in the GA Commercial Centre and those bars and restaurants up the hill.It runs from 10 until 01.00hrs and can be caught at the local bars.

Golfers Paradise in the Costa Blanca: For those of you that wish to play, the Costa Blanca has plenty to choose from. El Plantio, Alicante, Alenda, Quesada, La Finca, Villa Martin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor spring to mind. The nearest one being 15 minutes away. The winter months are a favourite with golfers, as the summer is just too hot to play. As we benefit from the micro-climate in Alicante, this gives us 300 days of sunshine a year....I have not counted them personally, so you can play golf here when your local course is not so inviting. Whether you wish to spend time chilling by the pool or in one of our many bars, or prefer to hit the nightlife, Gran Alacant is a great location for both. We actually live here and therefore are on hand to help you enjoy your stay or for advise should you need it.

Other Activities: Bird Watching in the Nature reserve. There are hides within walking distance.

My family and I had an ideal 5 day break here. We were picked up by Tony Hall and given a quick tour with the supermarket trip( which was very useful) and then taken to the apartment.My wife and I and my 3 daughters( 5,9 and 11) were very comfortble there.The beach is superb and a short walk away.The temperature was ideal for our stay( in mid October) and the sea was very warm!
There is a wide range of local restaurants that cater for families. The bus routes were very good if you wanted to visit nearby towns and cities and we did not need a car or indeed miss one!
All in all highly recommended and thank to Tony for his friendly attitude and helpfulness.

Very clean and well equipped property with an excellent roof top terrace with enough chairs, tables and recliners for all the family - no more rushing to get your towel on a sun bed first thing in the morning !

The terrace has sun all day round and despite the fact we went the last week in October the weather was superb with temperatures in the mid to late 20's all week.

Its been said on other reviews how useful the shopping trip is and I would second that. Its only 5 minutes by car but too far to walk back with the shopping and you save money.

There are a good selection of bars and restaurants within a hundred yards and the beach is only 10 to 15 minutes walk.

The owner could not be more helpful and it all lends itself to a trouble free relaxing holiday.

I would recommend it to anyone and we will certainly be looking to return

THANKS Tony & Sue your description of the Villa is what you said it was, nice clean and comfortable, tony was very helpfull in every way if anything is needed he would deliver i would recomend this property to people who want to have a nice quiet time in the sun the swiming pools are exelent, and the pubs and resteraunts are close to walk to
but myself would reciomend a car if you want to see other places as the busses are time consuming but the bars and resteraunts are quite good we enjoyed are time there
in July came away with a good tan regards Alf & Mags.
Owner's Response: We maintain the Apartment to a high standard and replace any items which need to be.
The area does have some great places to visit, and queing for buses is not my favourite pastime either, but they are cheap in comparison to car hire.

just had a great 2 weeks in tonys apperment Tony and Sue made the meet and great go as smooth as silk even picked my wifes sister up from the airport who arrived from holland three hours later than us.
some local bars and restaraunts 2minute walk away the beach is lovely a 15min flat walk away. The area is nice and peacefull with three pools 2 of them for the kids.
I would recomend this property to anyone you will not be dissapointed.
