Ideal holiday rental apartment close to beautiful sandy beach with large private roof terrace. Situated just a few minutes walk from one of the finest beaches on the Costa Blanca and within walking distance of the town centre, this apartment offers a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the traditional Spanish town of Denia. The apartment, completed in 2002, is in the charming Marina Puente Romano complex with two swimming pools and a well maintained garden area. It is situated on the third floor and has a terrace overlooking the swimming pool and a further large terrace at the side for all-day-long sunshine. The apartment consists of a large open plan lounge / dining room and kitchen plus two bedrooms and a bathroom. It has been tastefully decorated throughout and is equipped to a high standard, including air-conditioning, heating, TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, hairdryer and a fully fitted kitchen. The terrace has patio furniture and loungers for relaxing in the sun. Ideal all year location.

Denia is situated on the northern Costa Blanca and is easily accessed from both Alicante and Valencia airports by means of the AP7 motorway. It is a traditional town which has retained much of its Spanish character and charm. Denia is dominated by the castle ruins which provide a stunning backdrop to the rest of the town. The centre is a mixture of bustling commerce, port and cosmopolitan shops. There is also a wide range of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. From the port, ferries run daily to the Balearic islands. The old fishermen's quarter has delightful cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings and a daily fresh fish market. The Blue-Flag sandy beach extends north from Denia town for a distance of approximately 20kms. To the south is the rocky area of Les Rotes with its spectacular coves and clear waters. There are a number of good golf courses within easy reach of Denia. The two nearest courses, within a 15-20 minute drive, are La Sella and Oliva Nova.

  • A £60 / €70 final cleaning charge is applicable to all bookings. Midweek cleans / linen change can also be arranged on request for a small charge.

    Discounts are available for long-term lets.
    Upon booking, a £150 / €150 deposit is required per week. The balance is to be paid at least six weeks prior to arrival together with a £150 / €150 refundable deposit which covers damage / breakages and return of the keys to us. Local representative will provide a meet & greet service.
    Bookings made less than six weeks prior to arrival must be paid in full.

An excellent base

The appartment, as described, is really well situated. Whilst hiring a car in Spain is always an advantage, we managed perfectly happily without one during our stay in Denia. The appartment is comfortable and well-equipped but its real selling point is the large roof terrace which is superb. It was spotlessly clean with ample linen etc as well as a well-equipped kitchen. The other thing I liked about the development was that it seemed to be mostly occupied by Spanish families. The local agents were very helpful and efficient but in no way obtrusive.

Denia is a great place for a holiday if you want to experience a 'real' Spanish town. There are ample restaurants and bars to suit a variety of tastes and budgets.

We already knew the area a little, having holidayed twice before in Javea and we arrived with a long list of things we wanted to do. We did none of them simply because we hit hit seriously 'chilled out' mode almost upon arrival - but it's always good to know there are still things you would like to do in a place rather than feel you have completely exhausted somewhere when you leave!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Chilling out on the roof terrace is a favourite for all our guests! We are very fortunate that we have excellent local agents who keep everything spotless and take great care of our guests. Denia is an ideal location for those who really want to have a "Spanish" holiday.

Apartment is very nice, clean, good located, only 100 m from the sandy beach. This area is very nice for children, nice pools. We have really wonderful holiday :)

Très bel appartement tout près de la plage.Superbe terrasse et un équipement hypercomplet.Les propriétaires
sont très agréables et dun grand sérieux.Bon accueill par leur correspondant sur place.Commerces assez proches.Il faut ajouter l'agrément des 2 belles piscines et la chaleur de l'eau de mer !!!...à recommander!

Beautiful apartment near the beach, extremely well equipped. Superb terrace. Owners are very nice and really trustworthy. Good welcome from their onsite rep. Shops nearby.The 2 beautiful pools are a must, as well as the warm waters of the sea. Highly recommended.
