Getting there: *By air: Valencia airport is 1 hour north and Alicante is 1 hour south. You can hire a car at each airport upon arrival but preferable to book in advance on the internet. We suggest 'all-inclusive-car-hire.com'. No deposit is required and you pay when you pick up the car. * By road: Taking the A7 motorway from Valencia (north) or Alicante (south) leave the motorway at Exit 62 to Denia. * By train: Services run from Alicante to Denia daily. * By boat: There are direct ferries to Denia from Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera daily. * Further more detailed directions to the apartment, will be provided upon booking. The owners will meet you on arrival to hand over the keys and show you the apartment.

Excellent accommodation with everything you need for a relaxing holiday or for a family wedding, which is the reason we came to Las Marinas as my son got married in a nearby hotel . Val and Geoff were very friendly and willing to help, nothing too much trouble. Very conveneint for beach, shops and restaurants and Denia town a short journey and easy access to the mountains too. We also found the caves, which were small and not too scary for the children and very cooling on a hot day. We would definitely return and stay here again. Thanks again.

Wonderful apartment

We are a family of five and had a wonderful time in this spacious apartment just a few minutes walk from a sandy beach. We had stayed in the area some years before but forgotton how pretty it was.
The apartment was a great base for us. There was plenty of space for myself, husband, two teenage sons and 10 year old daughter - three bedrooms, two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and large living area. We spent many hours lazing around the pool, and relaxing and reading on the patio area. The dishwasher and washing machine were great to have and made the whole experience stress-free.
The apartment was spotless and well maintained and Geoff and Val were fantastic and very helpful (even when we foolishly locked ourselves out).
There are restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away or by car you can explore farther afield.
The area is quite busy but we managed to find some great places to visit that were not overcrowded - even at the end of July - including a nearby cave, waterfalls which you can swim in, and we had a short walk up the local mountain, Montgo.
We got good-value flights through bmibaby, making the whole holiday very reasonably priced.
We definitely want to got back again and would recommend the apartment to anyone.

Brilliant!

The apartment was as described if not better, it had a large spacious balcony with 2 sun loungers and dining table for 6, overlooking the pool area which was very good, set in beautifully maintained gardens. The rooms were well furnished and everywhere was spotlessly clean on arrival. There is a cupboard full of toys for the beach and beach chairs and parasols too. For those of you who want to stay in - can't imagine why though - there are plenty of books to read and a well stocked and varied DVD library. The complex itself is self contained with security doors at all exits. There are a few good bars and restaurants within 2 mins walking distance and many more a little further afield. Denia is only 5 mins drive or a short bus ride away and has a multitude of bars restaurants near the port area, St Antonios Sq is well worth a visit. Denia and the surrounding areas are not spoilt, they are resorts mainly frequented by Spanish tourists and there are no British Bars (if that's what you want go to Benidorm down the coast).
The beach is only 5 mins walk away, it has all kinds of water sports, sailing, catamarans, windsurfing, jet ski, etc etc. there is a life guard and first aid post and it is sandy ideal for the kids. The sea is as you would expect clean and clear and there is a beach bar for that lazy afternoon Sangria or Tanke of beer.
Val and Geoff were extremely welcomoming and heplful, we had a minor medical problem whilst we were there and they were on hand to give guidance and advice whenever we needed them. Thank you.
I would recommend this apartment without hesitation, it does everything it says on the tin and is excellent value for money.
