Denia is situated on the northern Costa Blanca and is easily accessed from both Alicante and Valencia airports by means of the AP7 motorway. It is a traditional town that has retained much of its Spanish character and charm. The Montgo Mountain dominates Denia that provide a stunning background to the town. It's a cosmopolitan town, with a wide range of tapas bars, cafes, restaurants and boutiques to suit all tastes and budgets. From the port, ferries run daily to the Balearic Islands. The old fishermen's quarter has delightful cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings and a daily fresh fish market. The Blue-Flag sandy beach extends north from Denia town for a distance of 20kms. To the south are the rocky areas of Les Rotes with Las Marineta beach, with its spectacular coves and clear waters. Perfect to enjoy a lazy stroll along the pier. La Sella and Oliva Nova Golf are nearby.
