The exclusive area of La Sella is conveniently situated near the A7 motorway, but a world away from noise and hustle-bustle. It is set in the foothills of the Montgo Natural Park and within a few kilometres of the expansive sandy beaches of Denia. Denia is a cosmopolitan town which boasts an extensive selection of restaurants, street cafes and shops. It has a ferry port with frequent fast ferry services to Ibiza and Mallorca. A walk or bike ride in the Jalon Valley or in the beautiful Cap St Antoni are highly recommended and the towns of Javea, Moraira and Calpe are within a short driving distance. The Valencia region celebrates various ceremonies and special events throughout the year, involving fireworks and parades in national costume which culminate in the spectacular burning of purpose-built statues in the towns. The cities of Valencia and Alicante offer a range of social activities and are within a short distance by train or car.

The lounge is beautifully furnished with a 3 seated and 2 seated settee, with beautiful wrought iron table and chairs and soft furnishings. The utility room includes a washing machine, ironing board and clothes airer. The fully equipped open plan kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave. The apartment is air conditioned throughout with hot air facility making the apartment comfortable all year round. Towels for beaches and pools are not provided. The balcony/terrace is well equipped for outside dining with table, chairs and parasol in addition to very comfortable sun loungers. There is also outside lighting to the balcony for late night dining whilst overlooking the beautiful, floodlit pool.

Beautiful apartment - made our holiday!

As a well travelled couple, we were impressed by the standard of this beautiful apartment, which was set in a lovely location overlooking Mount Mongo. We have stayed at this apartment more than once having enjoyed the local area so much. The apartment overlooks the swimming pool, which is cleaned very regularly and although we have visited in the peak season we have often had the pool to ourselves. We have found the apartment to be spotless and tastefully decorated and offers the facilities of a washer/dryer and full air-conditioning which was important for us.

The facilities in La Sella offer a really nice Italian cafe/restaurant overlooking the tennis courts and stables. The golf course is very good, but a bit on the expensive side, although this reflects the cost of a game of golf generally in Spain.

We really like the local area of Denia, in particular the boutique shops and the marina are a must to visit. There are some very good restaurants in Denia with most budgets catered for. We are also planning to try out the local diving facilities this year, as the coastal area of Denia is classified as a marine reserve.

There are plenty of beaches to a high standard in the local area, some cater for families, whilst others are more quiet and others good for snorkelling and water sports.

There are a variety of rental options in the area, but this apartment has exceeded our expectations on each visit and we feel represents very good value for money.

We especially appreciate this review which we have made our feature because it reflects so accurately what many of our renters have fed back to us whether they have been families or couples.

Yes, to play golf in Spain is a little on the expensive side, but La Sella Golf is a championship golf course with amazing views and challenges. As golfers, we have played the course and enjoyed it immensely, especially to return to the delightful facilities relaxing in the open air restaurant watching other golfers meet the course's challenges.

Denia is a wonderful atmospheric place to suit all tastes and ages. The shops are lovely as is the new Ondara shopping complex just a short drive away.

La Sella, in its exclusivity, continues to grow more beautiful each year with its well kept gardens, the stables, tennis courts, pool and La Giramonde open air restaurant -the freshly cooked pizzas are highly recommended and still remain one of our favourite meals whist enjoying the sun and views.

The choice of beaches is wide, but, of course, there is always the very enticing swimming pool to relax and swim in, whist friends and family look on from the apartment's veranda which is well designed for al-fresco eating.

As owners of the apartment, we say thank you to Dawn and James for their review and do feel proud that we can offer a delightful, value for money, apartment which enhances the holiday experience for our renters.
