Denia is situated around a natural harbour at the foot of the mountain Montgó (753 metres). The harbour divides the coast in two: to the north (Las Marinas) there are miles and miles of sandy beaches with shallow water and to the south (Las Rotas) there are rocky beaches. The quiet streets of the old part blend well with a modern centre which presents a varied commercial and cultural offer. It hasn't lost its typical Spanish identity. A magnificent fishing and commercial port links it daily to the Balearic Islands, the fast ferry will take you to Ibiza in 2 hours!
