Denia is a cosmopolitan town of roman origins and has miles of safe sandy beaches (Las Marinas being the largest), and is an old fishing town dominated by its ancient castle on a hill at the centre. It is located on the Costa Blanca's northern end and is very close to the LA SELLA GOLF with the 5 star Marriot spa hotel and a further 3 golf courses within 15 mins drive, the Montgo National park and 2 marinas and fast ferry available for day trips to the Balearic islands of Ibiza and Majorica. Denia has many excellent and exclusive shops and restaurants all within 10 mins walk or less. Easy access is afforded from both Valencia and Alicante Airports via the motorway and takes about 1 hour. The attractions of Benidorm are about 25 minutes by car and include 'Mundomar marine animal park', 'Aqualandia' water park, Terra Mitica theme park, and the world famous 'Benidorm Palace' dinner and exotic show.
