Denia-Las Marinas

A ground floor, pretty two bedroom apartment with covered veranda, located in small attractive complex with beautifully well maintained gardens, surrounding a communal pool. There is a security gate, with safe off street parking. The American style kitchen has a hob, washing machine and microwave oven. The pool is situated in front of the veranda and surrounded by lawns and palm trees. It is less than 10 minutes to walk to a large safe sandy beach and many local bars and restaurants. Denia is five mins away by car or via the local bus service which runs every half an hour. Denia is an attractive small Spanish town with many buildings of historical interest and lots of interesting shops, bars and restaurants. A wide variety of water sports and outdoor activities are available set amid stunning mountain scenery. Ferries also run daily returns from Denia port to Ibiza and Majorca, and regular boat trips leave Denia harbour. There are also many golf courses in the area.

Denia is mid way between Alicante and Valencia airports. It is a modern cosmopolitan town offering a wide range of quality shops, bars and restaurants especially along the tree lined boulevard. There is a weekly market and a night market on the main promenade in high season. There is a wide choice of large supermarkets for everyday shopping. The historic castle stands high in the centre of town overlooking the bay with many narrow interesting streets all around. Denia has over 20 kms of coastline from beautiful sandy beaches to rocky coves for excellent snorkeling. The El Mongo National Park lies between Denia and Javea Denia is situated within half an hours drive of many attractions. 'Terra Mitica' Theme Park has some of the largest rides in Europe, Aqualandia is a large 'Water Theme Park' and 'Mundomar' is an exiting animal theme park. Other places of interest to visit include Javea, Moraira, Calpe and Benidorm..

Entertainment

Denia is situated midway between Valencia and Alicante. A family resort with tree lined promenade, stretching along the beach area. The harbour area provides numerous good quality restaurants as well as lively bars. There are many musical entertainments to suit a mixture of tastes in the historical castle grounds.

A little piece of paradise

This summer will be my third visit to this little piece of paradise. The apartment is well furnished good location,pool outside apartment for that swift dip, pretty gardens and very secure.

A pleasant walk takes you intoDenia village where your every need is catered for. and for travel further afield the train station.. I would return each year and hope to do so.
