Penthouse apartment to sleep 6 people, just 250 metres from beautiful sandy beaches. One kilometre from the centre of Denia and only 10 minutes drive away from the new La Marina Shopping Mall with designer shops and multiplex cinema and bowling alley. The apartment consists of a large Lounge/Diner with a feature fireplace, American Style Kitchen, 3 double bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and two bathrooms. The Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with double bath, shower, toilet and two hand basins. The kitchen is equipped with modern facilities. Nearby there are a number of good local bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There is air conditioning and central heating throughout with ceiling mounted fans in bedrooms 2 and 3. Cable system TV featuring all the UK and Sky services including BBC, ITV and Sky Movies and Sports. Secure off road parking space available. There are security blinds in all rooms.

Denia is situated on the northern Costa Blanca and is easily accessed from both Alicante and Valencia airports by means of the AP7 motorway. It is a traditional town that has retained much of its Spanish character and charm. The Montgo Mountain dominates Denia that provide a stunning background to the town. It's a cosmopolitan town, with a wide range of tapas bars, cafes, restaurants and boutiques to suit all tastes and budgets. From the port, ferries run daily to the Balearic Islands. The old fisherman's quarter has delightful cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings and a daily fresh fish market. The Blue-Flag sandy beach extends north from Denia town for a distance of 20km. To the south are the rocky areas of Les Rotes with Las Marineta beach, with its spectacular coves and clear waters. Perfect to enjoy a lazy stroll along the pier. La Sella and Oliva Nova Golf Clubs are nearby.

Local Dining: There are bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, some are located within 2 minutes walk. The town centre has a wide selection of restaurants including tapas bars, pizzerias, steak houses, and the new marina (a 5 minute drive from the apartment) has a number of stylish bars, cafes and restaurants at the far end. An Aldi supermarket is located a short walk from the apartment with all standard provisions. Larger supermarkets (Mercadona, Eroski and Mas y Mas which are all similar to Sainsburys or Tesco superstores) are located in the town centre.

Local Attractions: Water, safari and theme parks can be found in and around Benidorm which is a 30 minute drive down the coast. The new Marriot Golf & Spa Resort, which adjoins the golf course at La Sella, has a choice of 5 restaurants and a Alanya Spa available to non-residents. For a special evening out, the Benidorm Palace has a spectacular show with dinner, wine and dancing as is reputed to have the largest stage in the world. For a more intimate Spanish style dinner/dance flamenco experience, Viva Espana is located 25 mins to the north in Oliva.

Golf: The stunning 6000 metre 18 hole par 72 La Sella course is less than 15 minutes drive away (approx 8 km). This course is due to be expanded to 27 holes in the near future, and adjoins the Marriott Golf & Spa Resort which is open to visitors so the ladies can pamper themselves whilst the men visit the 19th hole. There are several more golf courses close-by including Club de Golf Javea 18 holes (18 kilometres) , Club de Golf Oliva Nova 18 holes (17 kilometres) and Club de Golf Ifach 9 holes (25 kilometres).

we were in Denia for the second time and were very satisfied again with our vacation. the holiday apartment is very nice and furnished with a lot of taste, there presents itself everything what one can only wish (unfortunately, only coffeemaker has been absent) Our teenager was also inspired very much, particularly with the swimming pool and the big round bath. we will come again certainly.
Owner's Response: We are big Tea Jenny's and not coffee drinkers ourselves but will remedy this when we visit ourselves in October 2009. Glad everything else was so perfect.

Just the ticket

Have stayed at the apartment on many occasions and always found it to be ideal for myself and my 5 year old son. Have taken friends and their children and always enjoyed the stay with plenty to do in close proximity of the apartment. The beach is a must for the kids and only a stones throw away. Best with a car but can get about with Taxi’s and Local Buses. Plenty of bar’s, café’s and restaurants all within walking distance so ideal for all. Great new shopping mall with Cinema, Bowling Ally and plenty of shops. Great Golf courses nearby so ideal for Golfers too.
Owner's Response: Another satisfied customer. Rob has been at least 6 times with his son and friends and family over the last 3 years and has always enjoyed their stay with us.

Not as perfect as it seems

This is definitely over rated. There was no dressing room available as the door was locked so nowhere to hang any clothes in the master bedroom which by the way is furnished with cheap furniture.
The lounge, kitchen and single bedrooms were fine.
You really need a car.
If you take children...gag them-the neighbours dont like noise, all except one nice chap who lives there...oh yes and dont use the pool after dark-they dont like that either!!
Owner's Response: The review indicates a lack of space to hang cloths which has now been addressed, at the time of this visitor this was not the case. Yes a car is advisable although buses and trains do service the area but are no where near as frequent and reliable as other parts of Europe, which is typical in Spain, unfortunately. Like all communial accommodation sharing facilities like pools and gardens there are rules which have to be followed and niose levels is a general rule most of us comply with without being asked. Children have been and will continue to make noise and provided its at an acceptable level then this is not a problem. Many guests have taken children before and have enjoyed their stay.

We had a very lovely time in Denia this year as the place has plenty to do and is central to the area of Spain that we wanted to visit.

The apartment that we stayed in was excellent - all that you want (and hopefully expect) as it was very clean and tidy with excellent condition of all the facilities contained within. All the information for the surrounding area was made available and we had no problems at all. It is situated in just the right area so that you have a peaceful outlook but are within a short walk of all the action.
