Travel:
By road: Dénia is located on the Mediterranean coast 100 km from Alicante and 95 km from Valencia. Travelling by road involves the A-7 Mediterranean motorway, via exit number 62. The N-342 national road is the main road along the Valencian coast which links Gandía with Alicante, Benidorm and Valencia.
By rail : The regional railway line runs services from Alicante to Dénia every day. More information regarding timetables and routes can be obtained from FGV.
By boat: There are direct ferrries to Ibiza, Formentera and Palma de Mallorca which are run by Balearia and Pitra.
By air: The closest airport to Dénia is in Alicante. El Altet airport has direct flights to the main Spanish and European cities. Manises airport (Valencia) is also close to Dénia. For more flight and time information consult Aena. (Nationial Airport Company).

Denia boasts a beautiful Marina with something for everyone.
Guadalest has spectacular views and is only 30 minutes away.
Monuments and places of interest: The castle, Torre del Mig, Archaeological museum, ancient Atarazanas, La Almadraba archaeological finds, the Ethnology museum and the Governor's palace.
Beaches: Les Deveses, La Almadraba, Les Bovetes, Les Marines, Punta del Raset, Marineta Casiana, Les Rotes.
Food: red prawns, suquet de peix, el cruet, la Llandeta, l´Espencat, coques, el tomacat and Porreta de Melba.
Festivities: Bous a la Mar (the first fortnight in June), Moors and Christians (from 14th to 16th of August), Fallas (from 16th to 19th of March) and Hogueras de San Juan . There are also two pilgrimages: to Santa Paula (26th of January) and to Santa Lucia (13th of December).
