Javea:
Javea is an attractive town, surrounded by hillside villas, and with beach and port facilities. It is set at the foot of the Montgo National Park. There is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants in the old town and by the port and the beach.
Javea is located one hours drive north of Alicante, and is within easy reach of Moraira, Calpe and Denia. The A7 motorway is close by, and getting here is easy.
Nearby facilities:
The apartment is situated by the sea, halfway between Javea Port and the Arenal beach. It is within easy walking distance of both. There is a supermarket behind the property (about 250 metres). The resort of Moraira, with its fine beach and excellent restaurants, is close by. Benidorm is half an hours drive away, and here you will find Aqualandia, Mundo Mar (Sea World) and Terra Mitica theme park, as well as Benidorm's other attractions. There is also much fine walking in the surrounding hills and mountains.
Golf and other activities:
There are many courses available within a short drive from the apartment, making it an ideal base for a Golfing holiday. Javea and Moraira (both 9 holes) are a few minutes drive away; La Sella (18) and the Ballesteros designed Oliva Nova (18) are 18 to 25 minutes drive away; Bon Alba & Club de Golf San Juan, just outside Alicante, are approx 1 hour away; El Saler, ranked no.2 in Spain and no.5 in Europe, and El Bosque, ranked no.5 in Spain, are both just south of Valencia, and are just an hour away. Green fees are payable locally and club hire is available at most courses.
Excellent sea fishing is available in Javea and Moraira. Tennis is also available in both towns, as well as horse riding and cycling. Just outside Moraira there is a Go Kart track. More information on these activities can be obtained from the Tourist Information Offices.
