Apartment in Javea, Alicante - Costa Blanca, Spain: This luxury one bedroom apartment, located in an excellent area, is in a small safe complex with pretty gardens and lovely pool. The ground floor apartment is furnished to a very high standard, has air-conditioning and under floor heating. The bedroom has a large, comfortable bed with latex mattress and french windows opening onto a covered terrace. The lounge/dining room is very comfortable with leather furniture, TV, DVD/CD player, and french windows overlooking the pretty, private and secure garden with open views. It also has two comfortable single beds which easily convert to a seating area or vice versa. The marble bathroom consists of a bath with shower, toilet, bidet, vanity unit with mirror and hair drier. The kitchen is very well equipped with oven and ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer and washing machine. The harbour, beach, shopping and restaurants are only a few minutes walking distance.

Javea is split into three main areas. The 'Arenal' which offers beautiful sandy beaches, a promenade of shops, bars and restaurants (20 minutes coastal walk from the apartment). Javea Port is a traditional fishing port with a large Marina, intimate cobbled streets, a brightly lit promenade of restaurants and bars, clean pebbled beaches and a small sandy beach (5 minutes walk from the apartment). The traditional historic 'Old Town' has many Tapas Bars and a weekly market (15/20 minutes walk from the apartment). Nearby Golf Courses. Javea has its own Club de Golf Javea with 9 holes and there is also Club de Golf Ifach Moraira again with 9 holes. Further away there is Club de Golf La Sella in Denia with 18 holes and the famous Ballesteros Club de Gold Oliva again with 18 holes.

Both rooms have marble floors, air conditioning and underfloor heating.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at the Jardines del Sol, Javea. On arrival- we found the apartment in pristine condition, and with all amenities and extra touches that you would need/like when staying away from home. The garden was an added bonus and we enjoyed relaxing, or having some dinner in our own private space outside. The pool was also a big plus, and despite being communal- we often found we had it completely to ourselves which was lovely!
The complex itself was also very peaceful on the whole, and this appealed for the type of holiday we were after. As for Javea itself- it's a lovely little coastal resort. We found having a hire car ideal because we wanted to explore the surrounding areas and enjoy some walks and site seeing, and I think you need a car to pack all of this in. However, if you're going away purely for some R&R then it's also ideal for that too, and everything is within walking distance- with some lovely restaurants by the beach/harbour! Particularly enjoyed tapas at Piri Piri.

So all in all- a lovely break which i'd recommend to others- thanks! :)

place was clean and spaciuos, like home from home. situated in walking distance to many restaurants and beach. you were welcome will a bottle of wine, that went down well to start your holiday. we have rent this apartment before and will do again. the garden was keep under control so you could sit out there when eating or just relaxing and still had privacy.
