Javea: The Javea area of the Costa Blanca is best known for its unspoiled beauty and excellent 'Blue Flag' Beaches. Javea itself is split into three main areas. The 'Port' a few minutes walk from where the Apartment is situated is a traditional Fishing Port with a large Marina, intimate Cobbled Streets, a brightly lit Promenade of Restaurants, Shops and Bars and clean Pebbled Beaches. The 'Arenal' area closeby offers beautiful Sandy Beaches, a promenade of Shops, Bars and Restaurants with a small Fair for children in the Summer Months with rides, trampolining and go-karts. The Historic Town has white house fronts and Cobbled Streets, it is a typical Spanish Town, relatively unspoilt with a quiet and relaxing ambience and offers an array of Shops and traditional 'Tapas Bars', for guests to sample and enjoy. The spectacular Fiestas in Javea begin in June and continue throughout the Summer Months.

Six times in two years - why do we keep coming back ? This is a great, modern, well positioned holiday apartment, top floor of three, in a quiet location with a nice mix of permanent local Spanish as well as tourist neighbours, well maintained gardens with all the comforts of home and a great pool.

Just one street back from an unspoilt sea-front and lovely pebble beach, at the foot of the beautiful Montgo national park region, this is the perfect place to enjoy a many faceted break. Whether its the understated sophistication of Xabia Old Port, just a few minutes walk away with its relaxed waterfront restaurants and boutiques or 10 minutes walk along the sea-front to Xabia Arenal with its golden soft sand, safe crystal clear bathing and beachfront cafes and bars, we love it.

We've also enjoyed the taste of old Spain, taking the short walk up into Old Town Xabia, to its white-washed buildings, narrow streets, small bars, bodegas and restaurants - its magical. With its weekly market on Thursday this was great place to practicing our Spanish. In short, a super holiday apartment, well suited to couples or families. We're booked for next year and continue to recommend Bolonia apartments to family and friends knowing we and they won't be disapointed. Many thanks.

A wee gem by the sea

Recently travelled to Javea, Costa Blanca for the third time, each time staying at a different location. Have to say this apartment for me has been the best location we have found so far. Only 10 mins walking distance to the port area, with great cafes and restaurants and 5 mins to the blue sea of Eastern Spain. Apartment very clean, tidy and comfortable, although led to believe will be refurbished soon, so think will be excellent after that. Complex small but very well kept with gardens and clean pool. Loads of free parking outside complex. Apt had all mod cons, especially dishwasher....a saviour on holiday and cable TV (kept our 2 small kids in one place for at least a few minutes)! All in all an affordable, well situated and comfortable holiday home, would definitely book again. Javea, with its fishing port, great safe beach and old town, continues to delight, we will be coming back.

The apartment was as described and the photos are an accurate reflection. The location is ideal, between the port and old town with traditional spanish bars and restaurants and the beach and more contemporary bars of the Arenal. There are a number of beach bars within a few minutes walk.
A car is not essential as the supermarket is about 5 mins walk away and there is a bus service and taxis. But it is recommended to explore the region which has lots to offer.

Javea is not over-run with Brits, it is a resort for the Spanish to holiday, but most of the staff in the bars and restaurants understand English.

I would recommend the aprtment, Sandra was there to meet us and show us around and on hand by phone to deal with any queries we had. It was very well equiped with beach chairs, parasols, towels etc. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
