Our attractively furnished apartment on the secure Golden Beach complex is the ideal location for your family holiday. It is only a 5-minute stroll to the gently shelving sandy beach of El Arenal with numerous shops, bars and restaurants. The first floor apartment overlooks the private grassed gardens with a swimming pool, children’s pool, palm trees and tropical bushes, which is superb for soaking up the sun or relaxing in the natural shade. There is a main bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower, plus a separate shower room for the second bedroom. The spacious lounge/dining room and main bedroom both open onto the balcony which overlooks the pool. We have furnished the apartment to a high standard with all the essentials for a relaxing sun filled holiday in Javea, for superb value. There is air conditioning and heating in the lounge/dining room, with ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The apartment is on a secure complex with a lift for easy access and a basement parking space.

The charming town of Javea retains the charm of an ancient fishing village and lies on the Costa Blanca between the Capes of San Antonio and La Nao. The golden sandy beaches of the Mediterranean Sea are sheltered from the continental winds by mount Montgo. With mild year-round temperatures and varying landscapes from sandy coastlines to rugged mountains, Javea is the jewel in the crown of Spain's coast with around 320 days of sunshine each year. Relax without a car as the resort has a wide variety of entertainment with bars, restaurants and shops all in easy walking distance. Alternatively Benidorm's Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Mitica attractions are only 40 minutes by car for adventurous days with the children. The nearest international airports of Alicante and Valencia are approximately 80 minutes by car using the A7 motorway. Car hire is available and will enable guests to explore this lovely area. Transfers can be arranged from Alicante or Valencia Airport if required.

    A deposit of 25% is payable at time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance of the rental payment is to be made 6 weeks before commencement of the holiday. Final payment will be required on all bookings made within the 6 week period.

    Payment can be made in either UK Pounds or Euros.
  • A returnable deposit of £100 to cover losses or breakages is required with the final payment. This amount will be refunded following a satisfactory inspection of the property on completion of the rental period.
    Prices generally include the use of all rooms and facilities in the property. Two sets of linen will be provided. Prices exclude charges for the consumption of electricity, water and gas covering the period of the tenancy, and laundry costs during the tenancy.
  • The air conditioning unit is available for an additional charge of £20 per week to provide heating or cooling.
    For winter lets two floor standing heaters are availble for the bedrooms.
    The basement parking space is included in the rental and is great to keep your car cool on hot summer days.

Javea/Xabia town: Javea is situated in the north of Alicante province and this popular resort is often referred to as the jewel in the crown of the Costa Blanca and it is easy to see why. Javea has a relaxing and typically Spanish atmosphere with many contrasting features from the historic old town to the port and beach areas with their variety of restaurants and bars. The fascinating historic town centre has largely been preserved over the centuries. White houses are adorned with wrought-iron grilles and Gothic-style windows as you explore the labyrinth of streets and diminutive plazas. The old fishing port is full of character and together with the marina is one of the main tourist areas of the town. El Arenal has a long, attractive promenade with many excellent bars and restaurants to suit every taste, serving most European cuisines. The popular sandy beach is in a sheltered bay and there are many shops and boutiques selling a wide range of quality goods, beachwear and accessories.

Areas of interest: A 20 minute drive along a winding mountain road with spectacular views over the Montgo headland brings you to the delightful cosmopolitan town of Denia. Rich in history and culture, its streets are a fascinating example of architecture through the ages and the buildings are a monument to the civilisations that have made their mark here. The focal point is the impressive 16th century castle. There are day trips to the Balearic Islands and catamaran trips for the more nautical adventurers. To experience traditional Spain explore the beautiful historic village of Guadalest set in the mountains and the nearby 'Waterfalls of Algar' which are places not to be missed by the visitor. Also the towns of Moraira with it's beautiful sandy coves, Calpe with it's legendary rock, Benissa and Teulada are all nearby, each with their own individual characters to explore.

Tourist attractions: The Blue Flag sandy Arenal beach has children’s climbing frames, volleyball nets and gently shelves into the sea which makes it ideal for children of all ages. As the bars and restaurants overlook the beach it allows parents to take time out to relax and keep an eye on the children playing on the sand. About 40 minutes drive away is Benidorm with many spectacular attractions including: Aqualandia - the ultimate water theme park open from mid May to mid October. Mundomar - for a journey around a fascinating world inhabited by the most beautiful and interesting marine and exotic animals, open for most of the year. Terra Mitica - the new theme park boasting some of the largest rides in Europe which is open every day from beginning of June until mid September and weekends during other months. Golf: Club de Golf La Sella is close to the village of Jesus Pobre on the road between Javea and Denia. Opened in 1991 it is an 18 hole, par 72 course of 6,595 yards. José Maria Olazábal advised on the course’s design and has produced a demanding layout. Set within a valley, it is almost totally flat but with a variety of trees and water obstacles (the canals and lakes which provide the irrigation) lining most fairways, La Sella presents some excellent driving situations and fast greens. This is a private club with restricted membership but is friendly to visitors who are allowed to play and use the well-appointed clubhouse. Facilities include driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. There is also a clubhouse with club bar, a lounge bar and a restaurant. Club de Golf Jávea nestling in the valley between Moraira and Javea is an 18 hole par 72 of 6,641 yards. Although relatively flat, it is more difficult than it looks. This all-year round club has superb views of the El Montgo mountain, and has been attractively planted and landscaped around the greens. It has a driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, club bar and a restaurant. Advanced booking recommended and proof of handicap is necessary. A very good time!

We spent a week in early October 2008 followed by a fortnight in May/June 2009 very happily at Clive & Mandy’s apartment. In terms of satisfaction the frequency of our visits obviously speaks for itself! The quality and location of the apartment exceeded our expectations. The property is described accurately in all respects and was clean and well maintained. It suited us perfectly but may be at times less attractive to oldies like us, allergic to small children. So timing outside of school holidays is a consideration for those of similar disposition. Otherwise - full marks!!
Owner's Response: We work hard to provide a top quality holiday experience for our guests and it is great when we get such good reviews. After four years of renting and guest reviews we are still convinced we made the right choice of location and property.

The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean and tidy. As a group of four adults, we found this appartment to be spacious, well equipped and comfortable. (We were marooned for two days due to severe weather) Great to have good quality beach towels provided, reduces luggage weight! Well positioned for beach and restaurants. We didn't have a car, but it didn't matter - the local bus stopped at the end of the road. We had the pool to ourselves most days. The kettle stopped working, but this was swiftly replaced by Clive's Agent. Would definitely recommend this appartment and will be returning as soon as the Euro picks up!!! Try Alabrasa Restaurant - well worth a visit.

The property was spacious and clean in a well maintained and secure complex. It was in an ideal location close to the beach and ammenities. Restaurants were good but not all were good value, mainly due to the value of the euro. Although the weather wasn't great the boys still ventured into the pool, be it coming out a bit blue! I would thoroughly recommend the property and we would hope to return again soon.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone.We have been here twice now and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on both occasions.The apartment was spotless when we arrived.The accommodation is fully equipped to make your stay very comfortable.The balcony overlooks a lovely grassed pool area which is cleaned regularly.The local beach, shops, bars and restaurants are a few minutes walk away.The fishing village of Javea is within walking distance of the appartment and is worth a visit.
We would definitely stay at the apartment again.

Very spacious, comfortable apartment with all mod cons! Brilliant pool area which is cleaned on a daily basis.
