The La Isla complex is situated only a few minutes walk from the 'Blue Flag' Arenal sandy beach and promenade which offers a good selection of restaurants, shops and beach side bars. Fiestas take place throughout the summer with colourful parades, music and fun for everyone, ending with spectacular firework displays. Javea has a natural park with its own mountain called Montgo. The interesting towns of Denia and Calpe are nearby and Benidorm offers Terra Mitica, Aqualandia & Benidorm Palace. Javea is approximately one & a half hour's drive from both the cities and airports of Alicante and Valencia.

| Notes: | The apartment is situated on the 3rd (Top) Floor overlooking the garden and pool. There is a double balcony/sun terrace with access through French doors from both the bedroom and the lounge. The terraces are equipped with reclining sun chairs, table and chairs with cushions and a parasol. The Lounge and Dining area are equipped with comfortable furniture, a ceiling fan, a music centre & CD's, a DVD + films and English cable television is available. A separate kitchen is fully equipped and has an electric oven, gas/electric hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker and fridge/freezer. There is a washing machine in the separate utility area. The fully-tiled Bathroom has a bath with shower over, washbasin, bidet and toilet. One double bedroom with twin beds, fans for summer months, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and French doors to sun terrace. (A sofa bed is available in the Lounge and can be reserved at a small supplement. It opens into a full size double bed). |
Javea
Javea is a wonderful holiday experience and this friendly, upmarket Spanish holiday destination has a great deal to offer, from an unspoilt Mediterranean coastline to a magnificent mountain. The town is in three distinct areas known as the Port, the Pueblo (old town) and the Arenal beach. The Port has a pebble beach, a large Marina, fishing boats, boat trips, interesting shops and lots of pavement cafés. The old town has an historic church, cobbled streets, a colourful weekly Market, and a Museum. The Arenal beach offers seaside relaxation on a sun bed under a parasol by day and a lively, fun nightlife for all ages every evening.

Benidorm is just 40 minutes drive away and offers great entertainment. Aqualandia Water Park is a favourite with its amazing water slides. Mundomar next door has a Dolphin & Seal Show, parrots and animals and the new theme parks, Terra Mitica with its hair-raising rides and Terra Natura with animals and Water Park are a must. A day out at picturesque Guadalest village in the mountains should not be missed. For local sightseeing Moraira has a spectacular coastline, trendy boutiques and great restaurants, the Peñon de Ifach rock at Calpe is a fantastic sight. Denia port, town and Castle is worth a visit. From Denia Port take a boat or hydrofoil day trip to Ibiza. A shopping trip to Gata de Gorgos for handmade basket ware and ceramics is also a must. For a very special night out, Benidorm Palace offers Dinner with wine & cava, Dancing and a fantastic Show with Flamenco Dancers and beautiful Showgirls in colourful costumes & feathers or perhaps try your luck at the Casino de Mediterraneo.
Golf & Sports
For the Golf and Sports Enthusiast there are two golf courses nearby, Javea Golf Course (9-holes) and La Sella Golf Course (18-holes).Two Bowling Greens, Tennis Courts and various water sports including Scuba Diving and Jet-ski hire. Quad Bikes can be hired locally for all the family, as can bicycles.
