A conveniently situated, attractively furnished apartment, which is part of a very small complex (12 apartments in all) which is ideal for a family holiday. Situated within walking distance of the beautiful sandy Arenal Beach with colourful shops, lively bars and restaurants. There is pretty communal pool and grassed garden for the exclusive use of clients. The pool is accessed by a path at the side of the apartment block,within the apartment garden and therefore no roads to cross for children. There is a lift. A terrace with table and chairs for outside dining.Situated within walking distance of the beach and near all amenities. Car hire is available and a car will enable guests to explore this lovely area. However, it is not necessary once at the property. We can arrange for a reasonably priced taxi to and from either Alicante or Valencia Airport if required. Sat TV (BBC, ITV etc and DVD player. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and sitting room which are very efficient.

Sightseeing: There are many areas to explore which are not far away. A drive to the fortress (Guadalest) with narrow cobbled streets, shops, and wonderful views. Terra Mitica is our new Theme Park, really upmarket and a must for all the family. An evening pass is available in the Summer months at a reduced rate and is extremely good value. Aqualandia water park and Mundomar animal water park are also within easy reach. There are the Caves at Benidoleig and a Safari Park within easy driving distance.

Beaches Cafes and Restaurants: This apartment enjoys all the facilities that Javea has to offer, with its beautiful sandy beach, fringed with palm trees and lively bars and cafes. There is also the port area which is very cosmopolitan, again, with many good reasonably prices restaurants, many on the sea front. There is the old town of Javea, with its picturesque, narrow streets, tapas bars, indoor market, shops, museum etc.

Golf Course, Sports etc: Golf Courses, Watersports, Bowling There are golf courses which have excellent driving ranges etc. La Sella is particularly good which is 18 holes, designed by a top golf pro. Javea is 9 holes at the moment, but will be extended to 18 holes in the near future. We have 2 excellent bowls clubs which great meeting places, both having restaurant and bars. Watersports are available along the seafront between Javea Arenal Beach and the Port. These include windsurfing, jet skiing etc. Boats can also be hired from the canal next to the Arenal Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Los Olivos in Havea. The property was very well kept. It was clean, well equipped with washing machine, microwave, cooker, TV, Sky (BBC/ITV etc). All the rooms had ceiling fans but there was no air conditioning. It was very warm whilst we were there and we slept with the windows open and fans on each night. The pool was lovely and we swam twice a day. The garden was also very nice and we enjoyed sunbathing in the enclosed grounds. The area is quiet at night but is only a 10 minute walk to the Arenal Beach with loads of bars and restaurants. Approx 20 minutes walk down the se front to the port at the other end of town again with many bars. We loved Javea and were very pleased we chose this town. It has very good facilities including excellent supermarkets (such as Mercardo with great sea food counter). The restaurants are reasonably priced and the sea and beach are wonderful. The lovely village and beach at Moraira is only 15 minutes by car. We also enjoyed the castle and town of Gaudalest in the mountains (1 hour drive) and the theme park (Terra Mitica and Aqualandia) in Bendorm about 40 minutes drive away. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment and thge Javea region for a holiday.
