La Zenia is situated 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja, which is 50 kilometres south of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. It is 6km to Torrevieja town centre, marina, cinema, bowling, etc. This area is rated by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to live in the world due to its proximity to two huge salt lakes. Torrevieja town is typically Spanish whilst the suburbs and urbanisation in Orihuela Costa are more multi-cultural, mainly from other European countries.

Key Handover
We provide a key handover for those using a hire car from the airport. We provide directions from Alicante airport (either via A7 motorway or N332 coast road) and Murcia airport when booking. If required, we can provide a “follow me” service for when a car has been hired at the airport.
Local Transport
We recommend a car to get the best out of any area but if all you want to do is relax, take in the sun and have meal and a drink in the evening, either in the property or in the nearby commercial centres, it is not essential due to the numerous facilities within walking distance. The bus stop into Torrevieja (or further a field) is only a 2 minutes walk away on the main N332 and the taxi rank is at the nearby La Zenia roundabout.
