La Calma Apartments, Alameda del Mar are located 5km south of bustling Torrevieja on the Orihuela Costa. It is a 5 min walk to the nearest beach which is situated between the blue flag La Zenia beach and Punta Prima beach. 2 minutes walk from the apartment are two large well stocked supermarkets, shops and several banks. Also within walking distance are a variety of bars and restaurants offering excellent cuisine and value for money. Every Friday, Torrevieja holds the largest market in southern Spain and on Saturday, Playa Flamenca holds its own market, which is within easy walking distance. Orihuela Costa is recognised as one of the healthiest places in Europe, and boasts an average 320 days of sunshine per year. If you want an activity or relaxing holiday, this is the ideal place for adults, children, the elderly or infirm.

Notes to the rental rates

  • £100 non returnable deposit is required at the time of booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure.
    On arrival €160 are required, €100 for breakages, refundable when leaving, €60for cleaning, towels, and hand over of keys. Weekly clean and towel change is available at a cost of €25 payable locally. Bathroom towels are to be used only in the apartment, please supply your own beach / pool towels.
    Welcome packs, airport transfers can be arranged at extra cost.
    Normal time to vacate is 10am, this may be flexible depending on other bookings.
    Maximum occupancy 6, anyone exceeding this will be asked to leave the property immediately without a refund.

A spacious, south facing apartment tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and lounge for your comfort. The lounge has 2 settees, satellite and English TV, DVD,CD, games and books. The south facing terrace has the sun from morning until late afternoon. There is a table and 6 chairs, a large umbrella and beach umbrella, 4 sunbeds, 2 beach chairs and a barbecue. The kitchen has a four ring hob, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. A washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board are available for use. This is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday where a car is not essential, as all amenities are within easy walking distance. If you wish to travel further afield, there are numerous car hire companies, taxis etc.within the locality. This is a no smoking apartment, and pets are not allowed.

POOL AND GARDENS

This apartment is perfectly placed to suit all ages and tastes. Perhaps you like to relax by the pool. Our apartment offers a private terrace with sunbeds a mere stone’s throw away from the pool so you can keep an eye on the kids whilst relaxing with a drink. There are umbrellas to shade under when the sun gets too hot and a variety of books and CDs available for your perusal. For those for whom the hot weather might be too much there is a television, equipped with Sky TV and a DVD player and a range of DVDs for you to watch , or you can just sit in the lounge looking through the large patio windows at the pool and gardens.

BEACH LOVERS

The beach lovers among you can walk down to one of many beaches nearby or drive to one of several other beaches in the area. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need for this trip, this includes beach chairs, mats, umbrella and cool box. For the more energetic there are some toys and games which help to make a great fun day for all the family.

EVENING AND NIGHTS

In the evenings the possibilities are endless. Within easy walking distance are many bars and restaurants with a variety of cuisine and price ranges. Or you may prefer to ‘throw some shrimps on the Barbie’ and relax on the terrace. There is also a fully equipped kitchen if you want to rustle up a meal. All in all this apartment is equipped with everything you could want. Be it a relaxing day by the pool, an action packed day at the beach, fun nights out or a quiet night on your own terrace overlooking the floodlit pool and gardens, we can cater to your every need.
