Playa Flamenca is an ideal holiday location and close to many amenities within walking distance. Within a few minutes walk there are shops, restaurants and bars with great family entertainment. There is a large street market held each Saturday which is a must to visit and within 20 mns walk as are many other large supermarkets, shops, bars with great family entertainment and restaurants with cuisine to suit all tastes and nationalities. A fabulous family go kart track is also local and caters for all age group, including the very young. Only 10 minutes drive away is the local cosmopolitan town of Torrevieja with its harbour, beautiful esplanade, shops, cafe bars and newly opened theatre. An hours drive north brings you to Benidorm with all its entertainment and the theme park Terra Mitica and situated an hours drive south is the main city of Cartagena while nearby are the historic cities of Elche and Orihuela

Notes to the rental rates

  • Reduced rates for bookings in excess of 2 weeks.
  • BOOKING DEPOSIT:
    To confirm a booking you will be requested to provide a non returnable deposit of 10% of the total rental cost and then 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday the final payment should be made. Payments can be made by cheque or directly through the bank transfer system in either sterling or euros. Confirmation of booking, terms and conditions and directions to the property will be sent either direct to your home address or via email.
    A refundable security bond of 100 pounds sterling or 140 euros in cash is payable on your arrival and this will be returned to you on your day of departure and only after the apartment has been checked over.
    To cover the cost of cleaning and laundry following your departure there will be an additional local fee of 45 euros to pay on your arrival.
  • Support Service:
    You will be met on arrival at the apartment and a good support service is there for you during your stay.
    Should you be arriving late and after shopping hours we are able to arrange the purchase of a food parcel on request. Should you need baby equipment we are able to arrange the hire of travel cots, high chairs, push chairs, etc on request.

Beaches:

There are many beaches on the Orihuela Costa which have been awarded the blue flag in recognition of safety and cleanliness and you are gentle stroll of approx 15 minutes to Playa de Punta Prima renowned for its fine white sand and walkways along the coastal area adjoining other coves. The beaches of Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cala Capitan, Cabo Roig and Campoamor are a little further and the beautiful Mar Menor coastline with stretches from San Pedro to La Manga is a 15 minute drive away. Alternatively heading north towards Alicante you will find the very attractive sandy beaches of Guardamar and La Marina.

Just a short drive from the apartment are three superb golf courses and these are the championship golf course at Villamartin, not for the faint hearted is Las Ramblas golf course which is considered to be ¨one of the most challenging in Spain and Royal Campoamor which must be one the most stunning courses. We can arrange for tee times to be booked on your behalf and provide further details of golf courses and prices on request. You can hire golf clubs at the golf course and will need to provide a handicap certificate
