This brand new fully furnished 2 bed apartment is situated on the urbanization of la Herrada, overlooking the salt lakes and la-Laguna nature reserve. Easily reached from Murcia, 20min or Alicante 30 mins. The apartment is perfectly situated for beaches, villages, towns and countryside. There are 5 golf courses within 15 minutes and the famous la Manga golf complex is only 30 min drive. Torrevieja is 4 miles away and has something for everyone. This bustling resort boasts a stunning seafront promenade stretching for miles, a fabulous port, and an abundance of excellent restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment overlooks the salt lakes and has a wonderful climate with 340 days sunshine every year. On site there is a swimming pool and children’s play areas. There is a supermarket on site, and also a few bars, also under construction are the commercial centres which will contain numerous bars, restaurants and shops.

The typical Spanish village of los Montesinos is a 15 min stroll through the lemon groves, here you will find numerous bars and restaurants. The El Paso bar in particular is recommended for a lively night of karaoke and live music. A hypermarket complex is 10 min away where you will find Carrefour, Aldi, Lidl, McDonalds, also the Habeneras shopping centre with numerous shops, restaurants and bars. The bars have a good atmosphere and a late closing time of around 5am.you could also visit the ozone leisure complex for a game of tenpin, enjoy the casino or watch a movie in the 8 screen cinema. The coastline consists of miles upon miles of magnificent beaches and Spanish villages to visit all within easy reach of the apartment. The resort of Guardamar is 7 min drive away and is a favourite of the Spanish people and has retained its Spanish atmosphere. It is famous for the 9 miles of sandy white beaches and blue seas. There is a nature park to stroll around and a marina on the river Segura.

Notes to the rental rates

  • A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance due 6 wks prior to departure, if booking is within 6 wks of departure then full payment is required. Cancellation policy- up to 6 wks to departure date-no charge 4-6 wks before departure-50%refunded, 2-4 wks-25%refunded, less than 2 wks before departure-no refund. there will be a 55euro payment to our key holder which includes meet and greet service, hand over of keys, towels, laundry and clean after your departure a security deposit of £75 is required at time of booking and will be returned on your arrival home providing property is left as you found it and there is no damage or missing items.
  • Our English neighbours Mark & karen manage the property for us and can be contacted during your stay. They will also be pleased to tell you anything you need to know about the surrounding area as they are lucky enough to live there permanently. Airport pickups can be arranged and also a welcome pack of essential items can be supplied if you are arriving late. Please note there is a supplementary charge for air-conditioning of £15 per wk. Bathroom towels are provided but please bring your own beach/pool towels. Please could you also adhere to our policy of only smoking in the outdoor areas, eg roof terrace or balcony.

Golf courses

The apartment is situated within easy reach of 5 golf courses the closest being Villamartin, the other 4 are Campoamar, la-Finca, la Marquesa and the world famous la-Manga course. There is a possibility of reduced green fees for our guests which i will look into on our next trip out.a brand new course is to be finished in spring2009 at vistabella which is only 5 miles away

we have rented the apartment twice and have found it to be clean and tidy on both occasions. The roof terrace is brilliant for private sun bathing and the pool is across the road which is great for all the family. The area is quiet but there are excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance. A car is advisable if you want to explore surrounding towns and beaches. There is a supermarket on site which is well stocked with a good variety of fresh food ie; fresh fish, meat, fruit and veg to suit everybodys tastes at very reasonable prices. I would rate my experience at this property as being excellent.
