VILLAMARTIN ,Costa Blanca, Spain. Situated within the Orihuela Region, Villamartin is an up market area, and is in an excellent location being very close to 3 main golf courses, and only a few minutes drive to superb sandy beaches such as La Zenia and Cabo Roig. The Villamartin area also has very good local amenities, including a wide range of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and banks etc. The impressive Andalusian style Villamartin Plaza where wild parrots perch in the Palm trees above contains over 20 restaurants varying from Italian, English, German, Spanish, Mexican, Austrian, Chinese cuisine to name but a few, and these serve food both indoors and outside in the summer months in the delightful courtyard. For those not wishing to eat, there are also a number of bars within the vicinity. From Murcia Airport (San Javier) to apartment 20 minutes. Alicante Airport to apartment 45 minutes.   • BOOKING TERMS.
    Occupancy: The listed prices are applicable only when there are between 1 to 4 people in the party; please note that 4 people is the maximum amount allowed but on some occasions one extra adult or child can be added.
    You should not exceed the occupancy level as stated by us and on your email Booking Form, without first letting us know as an increase in cleaning charges will occur due to extra linen used.
    We require a £100 cheque to secure the dates requested on your Booking Request email. We MUST receive this within 5 business days of you submitting your Booking Request email, as there are often several people searching for holiday properties at the same time. The £100 acts as a Booking /Key/ security damage deposit. We ask that you pay the full holiday Cost 6 weeks before departure.

  • Damages:
    You are advised to check that broken items are reported to our agents/cleaners during your stay.
    Complaints:
    We are extremely confident that you will have an enjoyable holiday.
    However, if you have reason to complain this should be brought to the attention of ourselves or our agent at the earliest opportunity.
    We will do our utmost to resolve any issues.
    If you are still not pleased, you should write to us within 7 days of your return.
  • Cleaning Payments:
    €55 Final Cleaning Charge-up to four people, 65 euro for five or more - this is for our Agents, who will clean the apartment and linens/towels between guests (it does not include washing-up and normal items associated with a self-catering holiday!)
    Cleaning cost for 3-4 week stay up to four people will be 110 Euros.
    This can be paid at the end of your stay or a mid stay clean can be arranged.
    If a mid stay clean is not convenient there will be a maintenance inspection midstay
    Please leave the 55 Euro in the apartment before you leave for up to 2 week stay.
    Any Airport Transfer Charges/baby sitting/maid service (OPTIONAL) – should be paid direct to our agents in person.

Extras in the apartment: For anyone who wishes to walk to the Plaza Supermarket we have supplied a shopping trolley. Straw shopping bags to take to the Beach. Complementary hotel size shampoo,bath/shower gels and some aftershave are supplied in each bathroom as well as toilet rolls. Cool box to take to the Beach or pool ! UK plug adaptors. Maps of the local area and Costa Blanca. DVD`S-CD`S -CD/Radio to use on the Solarium when you have a BBQ or party.........with coloured lighting. A selection of books and magazines. Large Parasol on the Solarium with table and chairs. Smaller table & chairs on the Balcony....for your sunny breakfast ! We email you full directions from all airports and details of local supermarkets and shopping/markets. Most of the cupboards are full of condiments such as salt,pepper,vinegar etc,even tea bags/sugar. We have Lilos on the Solarium for anyone to use,also other water toys stored in a chest .Just replace the straps over the chest when you depart.

Extra information: We do have a 'Estate Agent' view of the Sea from the Solarium !.....just about ! You can also see Mountains from the Solarium to the North. Over the last couple of years we and our clients have left a bottle of water and Wine,and sometimes Beer in the Fridge. Most of the time this works as long as you replace what you drink for the next renter ! Its great when you arrive late in the evening and the supermarkets are closed. We have full wicker baskets full of in date sweeteners,sugars,tea bags,hot choclate powder etc.please help yourself. If you do require more, eg-butter,milk please let us know and we will arrange for our management company to sort it for you for a small charge. Extra sun chairs are situated under the beds and behind the door in the second bedroom. Sun loungers are kept in the utility area in the kitchen. Please use them for the beach,pool side or the Solarium.

Villamartin Golf Course: Established over 20 years ago, Villamartin is without doubt one of the finest golf and residential complexes on the whole of the Costa Blanca, having hosted the Mediterranean Open in 1994. It is set in lush natural parkland, with olive trees and colourful oleander lining the fairways. Playing over undulating fairways to well protected greens, no two holes are alike on this superb course. A ravine comes into play on the inward part of the course and the par 5 14th and the par 3 17th are spectacular holes on a course that is always in excellent condition. The greens are not too small and each hole is completely different. There are well placed bunkers and fast greens, making this a challenging course for all playing levels. Course detail: 18 Holes, Par 72, 6130m. Professional/Men/Ladies Tees plus a driving range. Green fee: approx` 55 euros. A handicap card is required.

Golf: La Finca La Finca is a new course near San Miguel (about six miles from Torrevieja and Villamartin), with fantastic greens. It is long, with water everywhere. La Finca is the newest golf course in the Southern Costa Blanca area, having been splendidly built in September 2000 by the developers of the Villamartin golf course. Located near the towns of Algorfa and Orihuela, and a relatively short journey to the superb beaches of Guardamar and La Marina, the location has magnificent views inland towards the beautiful mountainous landscape in the north. What a beautiful apartment and area. This was our top pick out of four options when I was looking for us to stay some where. Gary provides over and above excellent service before during and after the stay.The description of the apartment and extra information given is absolutely spot on, really well equipped and very clean. We went with two friends (Jo and Steve)who give me the responsibility to pick the right place and apartment to stay and it exceeded our expectations. For future stayers take gary's recommendation of hiring a car (it is a little off the beaten track which was exactly what we were looking for.(there are local maps in the appartment to help getting around the area). we prefer to eat and drink in as we like shopping and cooking like the locals but there is plenty of eating/drinking places and small supermarket within a 10-15 mins walking distance if thats your requirement. (although because of the exchange rate we thought a little pricey). The larger supermarkets are better value

The local markets are well worth visiting the choice is enormous and so fresh and the traders were so friendly. definaetly try their produce they are happy to let you taste samples.

We made full use of the roof terrace(solarium) Jo and I had our birthdays the week we stayed. who else has a barbeque in warm sunshine to celebrate their birthday in March.

Kevin and I are not really beach people but Jo and Steve are and they said they are very clean and safe.

All in all an excellent stay and will visit again (hopefully) and fully recommend Gary and Sharrons property to anyone thinking about it.

We stayed for 17 days in this beautiful apartment, which is ideally located close to beach,shops and restaurants, without being too close to the hustle and bustle.
Plenty of space and very well equipped, this was absolutely perfect for our family. It was our first stay in Spain and we would definately recommend this apartment for just about anyone to stay.
Can't wait to book next years getaway!

Great Location, Great Apartment

Upon arriving at the apartment, the first thing my boyfriend and I noticed was how clean and well maintainted the property was. We loved the sun terrace in particular as if you did not want to visit the beach, this offered a great place to sunbathe - a total sun trap! Onsite, there are bars and restaurants within walking distance or you could have a BBQ on the sun terrace if you did not fancy going out or if you are keeping on a budget. A small drive away, I would highly recommend the chinese restaurant for food and service. The air conditioning in the apartment was a god-send when we were there as the heat was a little overwhelming in the middle of the day. Overall, a great, relaxing holiday and we would return to this apartment.

Fabulous family holiday.....

A wonderful quiet and relaxed family holiday. The apartment was really spacious and very clean. Lots of useful toys, coolbox and other beach gadgets made for great days out at the beach. The pool and gardens were very well maintained and not busy - really safe for our two boys (age 9 & 11 years) to play and they made a number of friends.
Lots of activities - many beaches to choose from with fab waves, climbing frames and banana boat. Markets in easy driving distance. Good night time fair for the kids at Torrevieja, also Cartagena nice day out, shopping and sightseeing especially the harbour. Would definately recommend to a friend, Gary the owner provided excellent information and many useful instructions - he was really helpful and quick to email. The sundeck with built in BBQ was great after a long day at the beach.
The plaza had a huge variety of bars and restaurants. The whole family enjoyed Che, some meals were rather on the generous side but were value for money. Karaoke for the children at the plaza was fun along with a few cocktails (recommend a jug or two of fat frog!)
If you need to completely relax and rest up for a week or two this is the perfect holiday destination. Its easy, extremely layed back, a mini home from home. The whole family slept well, ate well and had a great laugh. The weather was good - we wanted to stay for longer, great value for money. A definate on next years holiday shortlist.

What a FAB Place!

My partner and I had a really lovely time....especially on the Sun Deck, where we had a lovely BBQ and could see everything...for miles. The apartment is clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is superb although to be frank with so many restaurants and bars...we never used it! The beach at La Zenia is really quiet and excellent if you like to spend your time privately.
Mixed ages generally in the Bars and absolutely no trouble . The owners are very nice people and Sharron definately the hostess with the mostest...!

Go ! If you dont you'll regret it!

You have a good choice where you want to relax,either on the Solarium,sun bathe,BBQ,or just sit under the large Parasol and read a book !
Eat and drink on the Balcony, overlooking the Palm tree landscaped area.Or sit beside the fantastic quiet swimming pool and get that well deserved tan.
Swim a few lengths and then soak up the sun and wait for the delivery of afternoon Tea or Wine by the other half !........My Wife will kill me for saying that ! In fact I take the Tea to her !
which takes 4/5 seconds from the apartment.......
The Plaza is just a short walk.Enjoy a lovely meal and drinks and just chill in the warm air !
Other Restaurants and bars are very close by to suit all tastes and price.
