A luxurious property with a quiet South facing aspect overlooking a superb garden square. Villamartin Plaza with its many bars and restaurants is 15 minutes walk away and all 3 major golf courses are within a short driving distance. The property is furnished to a high standard. There is a large lounge area with doors leading to the generous patio and stairs to the top floor solarium. The kitchen is fully equipped with latest appliances. Leading off the lounge is a small hallway through to the 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the quiet gardens and both rooms have plenty of fitted wardrobe space. Also leading from the hallway is a fully tiled bathroom with sink, vanity unit, bidet and shower. The swimming pool (with separate children’s area) is a minute’s walk away and available for residents use only. It is accessed with keys provided in the apartment and has a large grassed sunbathing area surrounding it. Beaches are close by and all blue flag.

Our apartment is situated 15 minutes drive south of the bustling seaside town of Torrevieja on the Orihuela Costa, in the Los Dolses residential area of Villamartin. It is a 40 minute drive from Alicante airport and only 20 minutes from the smaller airport of San Javier (Murcia). Ideal for sun, sea and golf, there are several blue flag beaches within a 15 min. drive, yet it is set in the golf course triangle of Real Campoamor, Las Ramblas & Villamartin. The renowned La Manga golf complex is a 40 minutes drive to the South. The apartment enjoys an extremely private location -being set in beautiful communal gardens away from the road and therefore maintains a quiet appeal even in the main summer months. We think this is a prime location whatever activity you plan for your stay.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rates are for the apartment (not per person). PLEASE NOTE: There are NO EXTRAS TO PAY for cleaning/linen changes, etc.
    Midweek start dates are OK throughout the year and short breaks are priced pro rata.
    The apartment is available from 15:00hrs on the day of arrival until 10:00hrs on the day of departure although we will try to accommodate requirements outside this where possible.
    At the time of booking a non-refundable deposit payment of £100 is required. The full holiday price as advised in the rental rates is required no later than 4 weeks prior to your departure. £100 deposit is retained as 'security' and is returned in full after your stay -when the keys are returned and the apartment is left tidy and free from damage.
  • We can arrange a 'Welcome Pack' of basic food should you require. Please ask if you have any other requirements and we will do our very best to accomodate you.
  • Whilst all your linen and towels are provided together with some other 'essentials' we ask guests to bring their own beach towels. A full linen/towel change is made for stays longer than 10 days.
    Prior to your departure for Spain we do provide a full set of apartment instructions, directions and detailed information about the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida.

Notes: The Apartment is furnished with high quality furniture throughout. Air Conditioning (which can be used as heating )is a feature and is operated by remote control. Satellite TV is installed with all English channels (ITV, BBC1, BBC2,CH4,CH5) and also a selection of Sky channels. There is also a radio/tape/CD player. The kitchen has all modern appliances including a washing machine. The double bed in the master bedroom will convert to singles. **Parents with small children, please note:- there is a shower but no bath.** This apartment has a large sun terrace to the lounge, a balcony to the master bedroom and a full rooftop solarium. All are private and south west facing-ensuring that you can catch the last of the sun each day should you care to. The property is fully fitted with security grilles and a monitored alarm system. Our management service providers live nearby and are available for contact in emergency.

Shopping: Food shopping is plentiful with a selection of Supermarkets within easy reach. The nearest is approximately 3 minutes walk and has a varied stock including an excellent fish and meat counter. Further afield there is a large (English speaking) Consum supermarket on the road up from La Zenia, about 5 minutes by car. In Torrevieja there is a large Carrefour hypermarket from where you can purchase almost anything. Dotted around there are a wide range of other shops including furniture shops, gift shops, beach shops etc. It is always worth visiting the larger towns and cities of Torrevieja, Alicante and Cartagena for the wider shopping experience. Street markets feature heavily in the Spanish calendar and there is a large market in Torrevieja every day and at nearby Playa Flamenca on a Saturday morning. These markets are worth a visit but note that the asking price for many goods is not always the price that the vendor will take. -'Happy bartering'

Further Afield: Villamartin provides a good base to strike out for some of Spain's most famous cities-Alicante, Valencia, Murcia and Cartagena spring to mind but there are many other places of interest such as La Manga, Orihuela, Elche, Torrevieja and Denia. The Costa Blanca has more 'Blue Flag' beaches than any other area of Europe and many are within easy striking distance of the apartment. Closest is La Zenia but there are too many others to mention here. The common theme is of groomed stretches of sand, excellent facilities and safe blue waters to bathe in.

Dining Out: Los Dolses plaza is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and it is a great place to spend an evening with a good selection of restaurants and some bars. The Chinese restaurant is particularly good and there is a Norwegian Restaurant which offers superb cuisine based around fish. In Villamartin Plaza (15 minutes walk) there are over 25 restaurants and bars with something for everyone including Steak Houses, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Hungarian, Fish Restaurants etc. Our favourite here is 'The Clubhouse' which offers a superb menu for all. Most restaurants cater for children. We would recommend that you book, particularly if you wish to eat later in the evening. Further afield (10 minutes by car) the choice expands. There are two superb Italian restaurants in Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca and on the main road away from La Zenia there are numerous authentic Spanish tapas bars/restaurants

Golf: Villamartin Golf course has previously played host to the Spanish Open and is a minute or two away by car. Water is in play on 3 holes and the greens are large with well positioned bunkers. Campoamor is a short 5 minute drive away with its magnificent club house overlooking the course. It has large wide open fairways and excellent greens with many long par 4s. Las Ramblas is also only 5 minutes drive away. The course is located between 2 ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean and is a test for any golfer with its narrow fairways and greens. The most spectacular hole is a par 5 named 'La Platforma' It requires precision from tee to green and has 2 water hazards before reaching the green. The hugely popular American style course, La Finca, is a short 25 minute drive, situated at the foot of mount Escotera, in the municipality of Algorfa. Designed to host top tournaments it is a must play for all serious golfers.

Perfect. Cleanest apartment ever

We had a great holiday. The apartment was perfect, lovely location and equipped with everything we required. It is the cleanest apartment I have ever stayed in, and to find milk and two beers in the fridge when we arrived was perfect.
The instructions for locating the property and the information pack in the apartment were very good.

After a 20 minute leisurely drive from San Javier (Murcia) airport we arrived at the apartment which was spotless and fresh. The surrounding gardens at the apartment are very well maintained and a pleasure to see. There was a very useful information folder in the apartment with local and sightseeing information as well as instructions for all the equipment in the apartment. A lot of thought has been given to making your stay uncomplicated and stress free by the owner and we highly recommend staying here.

This is about our 10th time at this apartment.We had a truly wonderful time.On arrival the property was spotlessly clean. The garden of the property and the communal gardens are very well tended.In the evenings there were a large number of reasonably priced restaurants with 5 minutes walk. The property itself was very comfortable and had every piece of equipment that we needed. This is the fourth year in a row we have visited this apartment staying 3 times each year,and this is the best property we have stayed at. On return from our holiday we always book again.

Thank you for helping us to have a great time during our recent stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean.

We particularly liked the "private" position in the lovely gardens.
