Moraira was originally a small fishing village which has grown in recent years with the addition of a marina and a number of villa developments, however the town still retains much of the original charm away from the brights lights and disco bars, and the high rise hotels due to strict planning controls. Moraira enjoys the subtropical Mediterranean climate with cool sea breezes in the summer and protection from the cold north winds in the winter by the surrounding mountains. Each year there is nearly 3000 hours of sunshine with an average temperature that easily exceeds 20 degrees. On average it can boast 325 sunny days each year making it an ideal all year round holiday. Moraira is between the larger resorts of Calpe & Javea, with Alicante Airport South and Valencia Airport North, both just over an hours drive away.

The property is easily found off the main road into Moraira (that means no driving around those endless, twisting spanish streets!) with parking facility at your back door. Accommodation consists of open plan kitchen, lounge/diner which leads onto Naya ( an area of covered terrace ), bathroom & shower, one double bedroom, and one twin bedroom. There is a under build for storage, this area also has a separate WC. |
