Casa Jessica is a simple attractive villa in a traditional pueblo style close to the sea and sandy beaches on a quiet cul de sac set among pines and bougainvillea. You have free use of a large swimming pool - with a protected shallow area for small children - and an all-weather tennis court. Shops, restaurants and café-bars: five minutes walk. Enjoy breakfast looking down to the Mediterranean and sun for the rest of the day in the front garden or on the dining porch. The two bedrooms look down over red roofs to the sea: with good built-in wardrobes, one has a double bed and one two singles. The spacious sitting room has high wooden beams under the lofty ceiling. It is comfortably furnished and has TV and video. The well-equipped American kitchen has a gas cooker and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave/grill and coffee-machine and a washing machine. There are good indoor and outdoor dining facilities. The bathroom has a full bath and shower.

Notes to the rental rates

• **These rates are net. A house clean before and after your stay (65 Euros) is payable locally. You are welcome to bring your own sheets and towels. For this, there is no charge. We can supply a laundry service at your request which costs 13 Euros per head per change of sheets and towels - also payable locally on arrival.
  
• **We are happy to take mid-week bookings, which can often mean cheaper flights for you. We will be as flexible as possible to meet your travel plans, especially out of season or if you are booking at short notice. You are welcome to ask and we will do our best to help where we can.
  
• ** Reservation procedures:We ask for a £100 (150 euro) downpayment to secure your booking. The balance of your house rent is payable one calendar month before your arrival in Casa Jessica. On arrival, you may be asked for a deposit against accidental damange refundable on your departure. ** Well behaved pets (with well-behaved owners) are welcomed.

Things to do - when you're too lazy to laze

You can just read in the sun with a good book from our bookshelves in Casa Jessica. Or: enjoy golf, tennis, football, squash, all water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding and even go kart racing, though not in sound range of Casa Jessica. Children will love Terra Mitica (Spain’s answer to Disneyland) and Aqualandia Water Park 45 minutes away. If yo play tennis, bring a racket and tennis balls. There is a free hard-court for your use next to the swimming pool two minutes from your door.

A short drive - wonderful scenery - old villages

A 10 minute drive over the hills behind Moraira with amazing views down to the coast takes you into the Spanish interior with its Roman terracing, olive and almond trees, vineyards and orange groves. Take a trip over the Cumbre del Sol (15 minutes away) for spectacular wild country and coastal views and visit Altea (30 mins), a superb hilltop town with its lovely blue-domed church and central square for some very tasteful local artisan handicrafts. A one-hour drive takes you up to the magnificent mountain-top fort at Guadalest, to the Vergal Safari Park near Denia or to Europe's largest palm forest at Elche.
