Available for the first time in summer 2004, this superior air-conditioned bungalow has been furnished to a high standard throughout. It is situated in a quiet location, yet within just a five minute walk from the renowned Villamartin Plaza, with its cosmopolitan range of bars, restaurants and shops.

The accommodation comprises one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and patio doors onto the rear garden and patio. Bedroom 2 has two twin beds and is adjacent to a large fully tiled main bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and has marble work surfaces. The dining area comfortably seats six people. There's an English language TV system in the lounge (cable). Steps from the terrace lead to a spacious, private and secluded sun terrace with loungers, patio table and built in barbeque. A large swimming pool with a grassed sunbathing area and a separate children’s pool is within 50 meters of the property. Parking is directly in front of the bungalow.

Villamartin is a 30 minute drive south from Alicante airport on the AP-7 motorway (toll), or a 45-60 minute drive on the N332 coast road via Torrevieja (travelling time can depend on the amount of traffic - sometimes it can be quite busy). From Murcia airport you can take the motorway heading north (about a 15 minute drive).

We will provide detailed directions and suggested routes.

Additional information about rental rates

  • OUR RATES ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE WITH NO HIDDEN EXTRAS.
    A £100 non re-fundable deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance is payable 4 weeks prior to departure, together with a £100 security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded after the property has been checked for damages, breakages, losses etc.
    The property is cleaned and supplied with fresh bed linen and towels on a weekly basis.
    Please bring your own towels for the beach/pool.
  • The property is available from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival until 11.00 am on the day of departure, although we will try to accommodate requirements outside these times where possible.
    All guests will be met at the property by our keyholders, who live on the development. They have considerable 'local knowledge' and are readilly available should you have any difficulties or questions during your stay.
  • We can provide information on airport transfers, and a Welcome Pack containing basic groceries can be provided at cost price (handy if you are arriving late at night).
    Please request details if required.
    Prior to your departure, we will provide you with detailed directions to the property.
    There is a comprehensive information pack in the property which provides lots of information regarding golf, beaches, restaurants, attractions, things to do and places to visit.

Golf Information: Golfers will be spoilt for choice. The Villamartin championship golf course which is open all year round is just 5 minutes walk from the property. The contrasting courses of Las Ramblas and Campoamor are within a 5 minute drive. The new PGA course - La Finca - is about a 15 minute drive away. The famous two 18-hole Kentucky blue-grass courses at La Manga are a 35 minute drive south.

Villamartin: The central Plaza of Villamartin has numerous bars and a large selection of restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines, such as Italian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, American, Indian, German and English. The Plaza also has a small supermarket, three banks, a doctors, gift shop, etc. Two larger well-stocked supermarkets at La Zenia are about a 5 minute drive away.

Next to the Plaza is the Villmartin Golf Club which has its own swimming pool. The clubhouse restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner.

There is a small children's playground just a short distance away.

The nearest beaches are La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Dehesa de Campoamor - about a 10 minute drive. The lovely soft white sandy beaches are very clean and have a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere and are ideal for children. There is also a coastal walking path which runs along this part of the coastline. Ideal for walkers or joggers!

Costa Blanca: The Costa Blanca enjoys a mild climate with year round sunshine. The World Health Organisation recognise it as one of the healthiest areas in the world. The coast has a abundance of blue-flag beaches. Torrevieja is only about 5km away and is a typical Spanish seaside town. You will find lots of shops and a variety of restaurants offering international cuisines. There is also a small aqua park. There is usually a local street market within easy reach every day of the week selling local produce, household items and gifts.

lovely bungalow

Just back from a lovely relaxing week in this bungalow. As Andy says it is fully equipped with everything you could want. I am sure the solarium is great in the summer, some where to cool off in the hot sun and bbq at night. The back patio is just perfect sun stays there until well after 7 at night. Breakfast on the front patio in the morning or a relaxing drink before sauntering around the corner to the plaza, which is only a 5 minute walk.
Los Dolses Centre is a short walk away along the canal.
Apartment is central enough for La Zenia by car, approximately 5 minutes.
Very comfortable place to stay, will definately be back.
Also good for walking.

We would definately recommend this apartment. The location was excellent about 5 minutes walk to the main plaza area. The property was very clean and tidy and well maintained. Parking just outside your doorstep and the swimming pool is only a 2 minute walk away. The people who met us on arrival were very helpful even when we arrived at 11.30pm. Hope to visit some time again soon.

To us this bungalow is the ideal place to holiday,very quiet location and within easy reach of local places of interest and places further afield for those renting a car.We usually visit in March and like to stay for at least 4 weeks,we find it a home from home with all life's little luxuries.
We always find the property in excellent condition and very clean.The 2 patios and roof solarium mean you can catch the sun any time of the day all the year round and how nice it is to have breakfast on the veranda in the sunshine as this faces east.
The community pool is large and kept in tiptop condition although it is a little cold before May.
We expect to visit regularly in the future.

Ideal Location

This property is ideally located if you want a relaxing break & also if you want to get out & about. My husband & I have rented the property for the last four years, usually late February, early March. For the last two years our son & his fiancee have joined us for part of the time & they think it is great! We don't bother hiring a car as we are quite happy to sunbathe & relax around the immediate area but they hire a car & explore the area from Benidorm to Cartegna & also inland. The proximity of the bungalow to the Plaza & also Rioja & Los Dolses means that you can walk out each evening to some really lovely restauarants & enjoy a few glasses of wine! The bungalow itself is very well equipped if you want to do your own catering & local supermarkets in the Plaza & Los Dolses are well stocked, not overpriced & well within walking distance. A big plus is Sky TV if you want to stay in! We are planning on renting the apartment again next year & our daughter & family hope to rent it later in the year as they have heard so many good reports! Ann & Bob
