This apartment in the La Zenia district is the perfect location to see and experience the Torrevieja coastal area.
The beach and all local ameneties, including excellent supermarkets, are all within easy walking distance - including the daily visit of the barbecued chicken van!! So the apartment can, assuming you can get to and from the airport, be used for a car-less visit if you so wish.
The listing IS accurate and not distorted in any way. The apartment is spacious, well provisioned and exceptionally well-kept & cleaned - it's always immaculate when you arrive. It's very secure and all possible safeguards, incluing a safety deposit box, are provided. The air-conditioning works very well indeed (a must for the summer heat) and all furniture and beds are comfortable. The clean, large pool is just metres away, is never over-populated and always with lots of room for sun-worshipping on the surrounding grass. The location is very quite & peaceful and the neighbours always friendly and quiet!! Parking is secure (behind locked electric compound gates) and the grounds are well-maintained. The huge benefit to this property, that sets it apart from all the others in this category, is the rooftop sun terrace which covers the same flooor area as the whole apartment - excellently furnished with 4 sun loungers (c/w cushions), a teak dining table & chairs and a brilliant gas barbecue (gas supplied). There is nothing better after a day at the beach or on the sun terrace than sitting down to a barbecue and watching the sun go down, listening to the cicada's gently chirping in the surrounding trees. Idyllic!!
If a car is available, it is only a short drive to superb bathing on miles of local beaches. The Mar Menor is a short drive and provides excellent swimming, eating and shopping opportunities. Murcia and Alicante are within easy reach whilst further afield, but reachable in a day, are Grenada, Alhambra Palace, Cordoba and Valencia. Local golfing is excellent and opportunities for scuba diving and snorkelling are good.
Customer service from the owners is second to none; they are very efficient and nothing is too much trouble.
Top Tips - try swimming at the Calblanque Nature Reserve, try eating at the Asia Chic restaurant nearby (on the main N-332) or the Barbecue Chicken van in the supermarket car park at La Zenia (for lunch) or try a round of golf at Villa Martin.
