Torrevieja :
Originally a fishing village, has become an important centre for tourism with plenty of hotels, extensive beaches, excellent restaurants and busy nightlife. A visit to Torrevieja must include a visit to the port with over 1,500 mouring points and all you need to practice or learn watersports, on Tuesday's and Thursday during peak theres the chance to visit the beautiful island of Tabarrca. On Friday's the town offers Spain's largest outdoor market is held there, along with an African market which is in existance day and night. Torrevieja offers (Aquapolis) waterpark, and a resident fun fair. Buses are avilable hourly from Cabo Roig during the day to this bustling town.
Beaches:
The closest main beaches are at La Zenia and Cabo Roig just a steady five to ten minute stroll brings you to the crystal clear Mediterranean seas. Both beaches are maintained daily and hold the EU Blue flag. The more active people can also enjoy the beaches water sports during peak season. Both beaches include sea facing restaurants, and in peak season beach bars.
Alicante & Murcia:
Alicante
Alicante’s beaches, bars, restaurants and breathtaking views make it the place to be. The surrounding shops around the marina bring to a classy atmosphere with the historic castle in the back drop. Thirty minutes drive brings you to this beautiful city. A trip round the city takes you to the port, the Esplanade famous for its monumental mosaic formed by more than six million pieces of different coloured marble. High up in the Benacantil Mountains you can visit the Santa Barabara castle, and the historical gothic quarter.
Murcia,
Take a trip to this delightful spainish city, steeped in history sitting on the banks of the Segura river. Wander through the large populated maze of narrow streets and squares punctuated by elegant buildings and churches. The major sites including the magnificent baroque cathedral clusters the numerous classy shops, restaurants and bars within the area. Fine buildings line the river where there are shady walkways and peaceful green gardens.
Golf:
The apartment location is perfect for that golfing break away, there are four high quality courses close by Villa Martin, La Finca, Las Ramblas, La Campoamor , two of which are championship courses. The closest being a five to ten minute drive and the furthest only half an hours drive away. All cousres can provide club hire, buggy and trolley hire. Villa Martin plaza is definitely worth a vist too as this is the golfing region of the Costa Blanca, the bars and restaurants that embed the plaza bring an incredible atmosphere during night and day.
