Superb quality apartment which is our weekend home (when not being rented out,) so it is tastefully decorated throughout. All facilities catered for. Euro TV Radio, DVD player, microwave, A George Foreman grill (for those healthy eaters) dishwasher, washing machine, etc Large terrace and dining area with sun loungers. Communal pool with wonderful surroundings and beautifully maintained gardens with fountains. Sea view from large terrace overlooking palm trees. This is an exclusive area where all properties are maintained to the highest standard. The property is in walking distance to local restaurants and tennis courts. Moraira centre and the beach are only 1 mile from the property. The cool breeze from the sea makes Las Fuentes a very comfortable place to be in the Summer months. Fans are supplied but actually hardly used because of the lovely cool breeze from the mountain. The apartment has radiators in each room for winter lets.

Moraira is a beautiful holiday place with a variety of landscapes and sandy beaches and imposing mountain scenery. It is one of the most selected locations along the Costa Blanca to holiday. El Portet is a safe pretty little beach which is in walking distance from Moraira centre, and on the way you will look down on the fine Marina in front of the town. Around the central church square there are cafes, bars and wonderful restaurants. Market day is Friday on the main car park, and shouldn't be missed with its many bargains. Leather goods especially. Also locally grown excellent fruit and vegetables. Javea and Calpe are two other excellent resorts which are only 20 mins drive away. Other places of interest that are not far inland are the Jalon Valley (great for Sunday lunch) The beautiful historic village of Guadelest set in the mountains and the Waterfalls at Callosa. A visit to this Coast is a must for a wonderful holiday.

Notes: There are a few steps up to the large terrace which would make it unsuitable for wheelchairs, although there is a back entrance with patio doors on ground level, we still feel this apartment is not wheelchair friendly (sorry!). There are sun loungers in the store room by the poolside please feel free to use them by the poolside. Please ensure they are stored away after use. Also there are three bikes in the garage store room for your pleasure.

Notes to the rental rates: Access to the apartment is from 4pm on the day of arrival and departure should be by 12noon Linen is changed weekly. It is possible to access the apartment earlier than 4 if the apartment has been vacated two days and you have an early flight. (there will be no charge for this facility) Also there will be no need to vacate the property at 12 providing we do not have visitors on the day of departure or no one in the next day. £100 security deposit is returned on the day of departure

Golf: Golf. Moraira area provides excellent golf courses with Club de Golf Ifach Moraira ( 9 holes ) 10 mins drive. Also Club de Golf Javea (9 hole, par 72 and 3035 metres) La Sella Golf course (18 hole, par 72 and 6029 metres) which is attached to the 5 star Marriott Hotel resort offering top quality gym and spa facilities which are bookable to non residents. Oliva Nova Golf Glub (18 hole, par 72 and 7051 metres) is approximately 30 mins drive

Best accommodation we have had in spain. Sue Fairbothom. Delightful place to stay, we will be back, and that is a promise. Mr Mrs chadwick. What a great place and with such a lot of extras, a real find, we are going to tell all our friends and family when we get home. The Reed family. Superb apartment in immaculate condition, home from home. Stuart and Zoe Allen. The internet pictures do not do this wonderful apartment justice. Booking for next year. The owners have thought of everything, in spite of some bad weather, we have had a fantastic holiday, but then who wouldnt in such an idlyic place. The Williams family. A Piece of Heaven

We loved our stay. The accomodation and hospitality was more than you would normally expect from a holiday let.Everything you can think of from dried herbs in the kitchen to nail varnish remover in the bathroom is provided for your convenience. Sumptuous is the word to describe the decor especially in the bedrooms and there was plenty of room. In fact there was plenty of everything.
While we were visiting the urbanisation was very quiet but we were out of season and it was just what we wanted. My 13 year old daughter is happy with our company but I imagine there are more families here later in the year for making friends. There is certainly plenty of outdoor space and you do not feel hemmed in.
The apartment is a lovely spot to sight see from but just as nice to take in some sun on the terrace - at Easter we did not try the pool despite it looking inviting it felt chilly. We had a car so had no problems with transport. We did see buses but your own transport would put you in a better position to explore. Tourist info is by the roundabout with the octopus fountain as you near Moraira. Our hosts were also very helpful and full of good ideas for sightseeing. Go inland as well as exploring the coast but steer clear of mini B'dorm. There are beautiful caves, busy port towns (Denia), Guadalest has lovely views, all are within reach if you have a car. The flea market is worth a visit but gets very busy for parking and wear stout shoes it goes on for a good stretch. When we were out and about we tried the bars favoured by local people and tried out our basic Spanish we were never disappointed with the food or the hospitality.
There are local shops for groceries and local bars for a glass of wine, or game of tennis or crazy golf by the apartment but when we had an "at home" day we generally went into the lovely resort to take in the sea air and we had many a lovely meal at the various restaurants. We also did the round of markets including Moraira which did not start as early as we thought it would.
This was our first trip to this part of Spain and we were not disappointed by the area or by the apartment we would recommend a visit.

Peace & Tranquility In The Sun

Fabulous apartment - just as good if not better from the description.
Very quiet and peaceful in the urbanisation and the few other residents we spoke to were extremely friendly.
We had the pool almost to ourselves most days.
The apartment was extremely well proivided for and the owners thought of everything to make our stay perfect.
Everything was clean and all facilities excellent.
The main centre is about 30 minutes walk into which although is ok in the light can be a bit tricky in the dark!! The taxi service is very good though.
Moraira itself is a delightful place - loads of restaurants and bars - great for families.
Definitely a property we would come back to when next considering a holiday in the area.

My husband and I went on holiday with my parents for a week. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn't believe how lovely the apartment was - Millie and her husband had thought of everything so it was like being in our own home. The pool area was bliss. We either drove or ordered a taxi into Moraira for the nights we wanted to eat and drink in the town as it was a little too far for us all to walk in but this was all done without a problem. We would definitely recommend this property and will return ourselves in the future.
