Ideal for family, golf, or romantic holiday. Built to a high specification, fully equipped & luxuriously appointed with marble floors. Set in Private tropical gardens with 3 pools (1 heated) & 24 hour security. The apartment sleeps upto 7 people very comfortably, comprising of two bedrooms, a double bedroom with en suite, a twin bedroom with access to the terrace & the lounge which has 1 double sofa bed & 1 single camp bed with dinning for six. There is a large terrace with dining facilities over looking the pool & gardens. The apartment is fully air conditioned & has heating for the colder months & benefits from under floor heating in both bathrooms. There is a plasma TV, DVD and CD Player with Sky TV installed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a utility room with washer/dryer & dishwasher.

Notes to the rental rates

• Rental rates vary depending on number in the party. For single sex groups of between five and seven people there is an additional cost- please enquire.
  A 25% deposit of the total rental payable is required to secure your booking.
  An additional £150 'breakage deposit' is required. Payable to the key holder on site and refunded after an inspection of the property when you depart. For single sex parties of five or more the breakage deposit is £300 based on the same terms as above.
  Owner asks that you arrive at the property after 3 PM and leave before 11.30:00 AM. However, this may be flexible if there is not another arrival on the same day.
  The key holder will deduct 65 euros from your breakage deposit to cover the deep clean of the apartment to which they will wash and iron all linen and bedding - leaving you able to just pack and leave on your day of departure.
  
• For families with babies a cot and high chair can be rented for the apartment at a cost of 35 euros per week. Please ask and this can be arranged.

Local fiestas in Torrevieja

Don’t miss the February carnival in Torrevieja! They are fun parades & include many eye catching fancy dress costumes. For the annual May fair, Torrevieja enjoys a week of Andalusian style festivities between 2nd & 6th of May. Easter has many processions including Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday & Easter Sunday, which illustrate the story of the events leading up to the crucifixion and subsequent resurrection. Spanish Christmas is celebrated in a slightly different way to the British. In the town square you will often see a model of Bethlehem & other parts of the Holy Land. this is known as the Belen (meaning Bethlehem) & is well worth a look. On 5th of Jan, there is a 3 Kings parade which has the 3 wise men on horses or camels. There is a great party atmosphere & many sweets & other treats are thrown into the crowds. On NYE you will find a large crowd of people in the town hall square, celebrating in true festive spirit. The mood is buoyant with much hugging & kissing!

Beaches

The region has beautiful sandy beaches, Europe’s largest salt flat lakes which are bursting with bird life, historic sites and a huge variety of Spanish and international restaurants. The beaches in and around Torrevieja are plentiful and vary from vast expanses of sand to small, pebble coves. Many of the safe white sandy beaches are proud to display the prestigious Blue Flag, which is awarded by the EU for cleanliness and safety. A short drive along the coastline are the beaches of Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Playa de los Naufragos, Playa del Cura, Playa de la Mata and Playa de los Locus. Punta Prima has 3 sandy beaches all within walking distance of the apartment- one being only 300 meters away. Towards Torrevieja there is a beautiful beach with a back drop of tropical Palm Trees, on the seafront next to the Nautilus Bar (great food, fantastic views overlooking the med) there is a small, enclosed beach and towards Playa Flamenca & a nudist beach not far!

Temperature & Climate

The hottest months are between June and September when temperatures average 27C to 34C, but even winter months are a comfortable 17C average and rising to 21C which make the area a popular year round destination. The climate at Punta Prima is especially beneficial for sufferers of respiratory, arthritic ailments or illnesses. The Costa Blanca has been described by the World Health Organization as being one of the healthiest places to live. This is partially due to the proximity of the Salt Lakes and the sunshine - you can expect to enjoy over 300 days of sunshine a year! This is attractive for sun worshippers, golfers and water sport enthusiasts alike with temperatures rarely dropping below 15c in the colder, winter months.

Golf Information:

There are five prestigious Golf Courses within a short drive from the apartment where a round of gold can be played for as little as £10 - Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Villamartin, La Maquesa and La Finca . In addition the apartments benefit from their own Pitch and Put course situated across the road, which will be ready at the end of April 2007. The famous & exclusive La Manga Golf resort is only 30 mins drive away and the new desert course at Mosa Trajectum is even closer.
