The lounge has English digital satellite TV, DVD and video. All rooms have ceiling fan/light clusters to circulate the air. A well appointed American style fitted kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. The property has off road parking and is approx. 10 minutes walk from Villamartin Plaza, with its restaurants bars, banks and supermarket. 3 blue flag beaches are approximately 3 kilometres away. Many golf courses are in the area, 3 within 15 minutes drive. Bus service to La Zenia beach is available in the summer months from Villamartin.

Notes to the rental rates

• A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure a booking, with the balance being due 6 weeks prior to departure. If booking is less than 6 weeks before departure date, payment is due in full. A separate £100 security bond cheque is also required with the balance, to cover the unlikely event of any breakages, loss of key etc. This will be returned within 2 weeks from the end of your holiday, provided keys are returned and there are no damages. The owner reserves the right to charge clients for damages, breakages or loss to the property caused by the client.
  The owner cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, damage etc. The owner offers all information in good faith and the client is deemed to have accepted these conditions on booking.
  
• There is a standard 65 euros cleaning and laundry charge payable to our representative on arrival. The property is cleaned and supplied with fresh bed linen and towels, (not beach or pool). Please bring your own beach/pool towels as towels are not to be removed from the property. For rentals longer than a week, an additional set of bedding and towels will be supplied. The property can be cleaned and linen changed mid-term, at an additional charge. Please ask our local contact for details. Normal checkin time after 14:00 hrs and checkout by 10:00 hrs on day of departure.
  
• The price includes access to the communal pool, water and electricity.
  A welcome pack of food, airport pick-ups and returns can be arranged at an extra cost through our local contact.

The WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION has recognised the area south of ALICANTE as one of the healthiest areas in the world with its dry, mild climate, all year round sunshine and blue flag beaches with an average temperature of around 20 º C and more than 300 days of Sunshine a year. Orihuela has 16 kilometres of coastline that alternate between rocky parts with clear water and beaches renowned for their fine sand. Torrevieja, a bustling town, steeped in Spanish history, tradition and atmosphere, is 15 minutes away by car. Enjoy the fresh food in numerous restaurants of different cuisine, cafes, bars and nightclubs and also wander the clothes shops and boutiques. Tastes to suit all. Parade along the palm lined promenades as the locals do, or take a drink in the street bars and watch the world pass by. Try the local tapas with your friends over a drink. A lovely way to while away the day. There are many historic places of interest and museums in the Orihuela Costa area.

Villamartin

The central Plaza of Villamartin has a supermarket, banks, shops and numerous bars with a large selection of restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines, such as Italian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Swedish, German and English and is on two tiers with a beautiful courtyard in the centre. Next to the Plaza is the Villamartin Golf Club, which is equipped with its own swimming pool, tennis courts and a clubhouse restaurant which is open to the public for lunch and dinner. Los Dolses is 5 minutes drive away with further shops, bars, restaurants, an English produce supermarket, electrical shop and a car rental office.

Shopping, markets and local information

Three large supermarkets, Mercadona, Consum and Lidl, are within 15 minutes drive, with another smaller supermarket, Supervalue, at Los Dolses with a local English produce shop nearby. Street markets are held in Torrevieja on Friday, Playa Flamenca on Saturday, San Pedro on Monday and Guardamar on Wednesday. Torrevieja has an evening 'craft market' along the sea front. To the north is a typical Spanish town, San Miguel, with its large market on Wednesdays. Visit the local historical towns of Murcia, Orihuelu and Elche with their many churches and museums. Also try a day trip to the wildness of the Sierra Espuna national park comes highly recommended.

Buggy hire available. Las Ramblas means 'old river beds' and you will see plenty. Elevated tees, blind drives, shots over ravines, lay ups, narrow fairways and fast greens, lots of trees and plenty of water hazards. Accuracy is needed, but its great fun.
