Stunning stone finca set in 2/3 of an acre with exposed wooden beams and traditional stone walls, with an interior gallery and soothing water feature. There are 4 bedrooms, main bedroom has a romantic balcony overlooking the very inviting pool, the twin bedrooms open onto a large roof terrace with valley & sea views. The 4th Double Bedroom is on the ground level. There are 2 bathrooms the main bathroom has a hand made luxury Turkish style bath.Pedreguer is a typical Spanish village with all you would expect. A few minutes drive from the finca you can indulge in various activities including golf at La Sella golf course or being pampered at the Spa at the Marriot Horse riding, mountain or country walks or for those who enjoy the faster pace quad biking through the beautiful Orba valley. Denia’s golden coastline is only a 10min drive with many beach bars and water sports Also within easy driving distance is Javea, Moriara, Calpe and Benidorm with sea world, water parks,Terra Mitica

Denia and the coastline is only a 10min drive and is an old fishing town. The main tree lined street ‘Marques de Campo’ you can enjoy a very cosmopolitan feel, lined with shops, boutiques, restaurants, tapas bars etc. and beautiful sandy beaches next to the harbour where ferries, to the Balearic Islands, leave. Many beach bars and water sports can be found at various places along the beaches. At the new marina you can admire the many beautiful yachts and enjoy the sunset and castle view from the many restaurants and terraces. Javea is only a 15 min drive where you can find a small fishing port and beautiful old town, also here is the popular Arenal beach with an attractive promenade lined with bars, restaurant and boutiques. In the opposite direction towards Valencia you have 70 miles of golden beaches where you are sure to find a quiet spot or a romantic beach front restaurant. Inland from the coast is the lovely Orba Valley a back drop of stunning mountains and orange groves.

Great holiday!

We stayed in this lovely house for a week in August. The finca is wonderfully restored and full of character, but still has all the mod-cons. There's plenty of room in the large flat garden and the pool is fantastic! Our boys were quite often still swimming at midnight!!!
Its located in a secluded area, but feels secure and you are only 5mins drive from ammenities such as supermarkets and restaurants.
To summarise - a fantastic place that meant a great holiday.

August 2009 Holiday Rental

We spent a very relaxing lazy two weeks in August at this unique finca. The large garden is beautiful. The hammock was lovely and cool under the tree. Picking grapes from the vines, lemons from the tree and almonds was a bonus.The house has a real charm about it. The large pool was welcome on this very hot August!Lovely sandy beaches and resturants not far away and stunning views of the mountains.We had a lovely holiday. Thank you, Kerry and Lee.

Our stay in May

Kerry welcomed us warmly to the finca, which is surrounded by Spanish properties and so not obviously touristy, which was good. There is a lovely big garden with several sorts of fruit tree (we made genuine lemonade) and a great pool, which everybody loved. There was lots of space to sit round the pool and a table at which to play cards

The building is an interesting old property and well-furnished, (Kerry and her family have obviously worked very hard on it) though an extra light or two for bedtime reading would have been appreciated.. There are alot of dogs in the area; the local inhabitants keep plenty, as guard dogs, presumably, and they were very vocal, which was a bit of a pity.

The local town, Pedreguer, is a twenty minute walk and we found a wonderful restaurant in the backstreets, which Kerry can direct guests to. The supermarket is quite good and more interestingly, there is a good food market in one of the squares.

Although rural, the finca is not very far from a good main road so that places can easily be reached from here, including picturesque valleys full of fruit trees. If you prefer the coast, that's not far either, so the finca is well-placed for travelling and is an easy drive from Alicante Airport - a good choice if you want to stay in this area of Spain.

Warm and Cozy Winter Break

We came out for a week in the depths if winter - some days sunny and warm, some days wet and cold. And we loved it. The finca was warm and cozy, especially when we got the log burning stove going, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We spent a great New Year's Eve at home here but even a few glasses of Cava couldn't persuade us to take a midnight dip in the fabulous pool! We have stayed in many properties in this part of Spain and this has been one of our best experiences.

Many thanks to Kerry and Lee who have done such a great job in resurrecting what was virtually a ruin into such a comfortable place to stay.

a fine finca

a nicely restored finca with lots of character. the location is suburban but very private, and was perfect for taking it easy. beaches, restaurants and bars plentiful within a few miles drive, and a very good base for exploring the mountains. also easy drive to valencia for a day trip. we found everything spot on for our mixed group of adults and children and would recommend it as an excellent choice in this region.
