The house was built in late 2006, within an enclosed private complex with communal swimming pool and children's play ground. This spacious property is offered to a high specification, and is a very comfortable, clean holiday home for your enjoyment. With the house arranged over three floors, there is one double bedroom with en-suite, and a further two twin bedrooms sharing a family bathroom on the first floor. There is an adjoining terrace off of the twin bedrooms that over looks the pool. On the ground floor you will find a fully fitted kitchen with a separate utility area, a very comfortable lounge with dining area complete with LCD TV, Hi-Fi and DVD player and a terrace with pool view. The lower level is furnished as a day room with sofa, and has another terrace with patio table and chairs and access to the pool area. The first two floors have air conditioning, the lower level does not as this will be more of an open day room.

Alenda Green is set in the mountains of Monforte del Cid, Alicante. It can be found just 20 minutes from Alicante airport and 15 minutes by car from Alicante city centre, where you will find a beautiful beach, many shops and a stunning harbour, a great place to spend some time people watching. The house is within Alenda Golf, a splendid 18 hole (PAR 72 and 6257 metre) golf course created in 1997. The first 9 holes are entertaining and easier to play, with wide fairways which help tee shots limited by pines, carob trees and palm trees. On the contrary, the second 9 holes require a higher concentration being more technical and precision is more important than distance. There is also a driving range and putting green.

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing holiday. This property is excellent very clean with everything you could need. The pool and playground area are fantastic and we had nearly sole use of it during our stay. A car is essential. Great supermarket within a short walk which stocks nearly everything you could need. Would definately recommend to family and friends. Thanks for a great holiday Emma!!
Owner's Response: Even in October there can be lovely weather in Alicante! The pool is in use all year (although can be a bit chilly in winter!) The complex is in the main used by second home owners, so you can quite often find that you have sole use of the pool.

Fantastic Girls' Getaway

We had a fantastic Girls Getaway at this fabulous villa. It was extremely spacious, allowing us plenty of opportunity to get together for lunches on the terrace, or drinks on the balcony but also to have some quiet time as it had two internal lounges. It was furnished throughout to the very highest standard, with every modern convenience you could hope for. The pool area was very peaceful and perfect for relaxing during the day. And Alicante was perfect for living it up at night!
Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. The house is indeed very spacious. It sleeps six comfortably and in the warmer summer months there are an extra two beds in the lower ground floor to accommodate two more people. The beauty of this house is that you can have your own space in a peaceful location, but similarly, you can have the nightlife of Alicante which is only 15 minutes away by car. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, please come again!

i highly recommend this property it was very clean and in a lovely peaceful area ,there was everything in the house you would need and a great shared pool area ,there is a good supermarket close by that has most things,the only thing i would recommend is a car if like going to the beach,communcation with the owner was great, allways helpful and kept you informed, we had a great time and when we go back to spain we know where we will stay many thanks to Emma.

Much larger supermarkets are a short car drive away if you wanted a more extensive range. We do recommend hiring a car although I do now have the number for a very handy English cab driver! We stopped at the property for two weeks from the end of June to mid July 2008 and found the whole experioence to be excellent. The party consisted of three adults and four teenagers and the property was perfect for this group size. The property itself was in very good condition, clean and tidy with good quality furniture and appliances. The swimming pool area was fantastic and overall the complex a very nice place to be. Whilst we were initially concerned that the property was inland and possible a bit isolated we found that the trip to Alicante by car only ever took between 15 and 20 minutes on good roads. The small (friendly) supermarket on site was perfectly adequate for our needs beiong well stocked and very clean. Overall, an excellent experoience and we have already recomended friends.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. We have found that all our guests so far have been surprised at the ease of access into Alicante City Centre and also to the beaches. In this house you really can have the best of both worlds, a quiet, peaceful retreat, but still near enough to beaches, restaurants, towns and night life. The house is also very spacious and benefits from having the house next door available for rent too. Suitable for large or small groups.

Loving Spain!

I stayed with a large group. Though the Villa only slept 6 we slept 8 comfortably. The Villa was equipped with all of the mod-cons and was spotless. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The walk up to the Monastery was fab with beautiful views. The sunset on the balcony at night is romantic and peaceful. We will definitely go back.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. The location of the house is indeed quite tranquil and the mountain views and walks can be beautiful. From the monastery there are amazing views all over Alicante and there is a view point area with a map to help you get your bearings. The drive to the monastery takes you through some vineyards, which are very beautiful in the summer. The great thing about this house is the fact that you can be away from it all and yet still at the beach in 15 minutes! The fact that the house next door is also available means that you can enjoy a holiday with another family whilst still maintaining your own space. We look forward to you returning!
