Luxury 3 Bedroom duplex on 2 floors plus full sized roof terrace, set in well maintained gardens, overlooking a superb communal pool complex. The La Sella resort includes a championship 18 hole golf course, excellent tennis courts, horse riding, restaurants, cafe/bar, supermarket and pharmacy. The house has good open mountain views and is 10 mins drive from first class beaches at Denia and about 20 mins from Javea. It is one hours drive from the marina at Valencia. There are two private sun terraces and direct access to the pool. It is well equipped to suit families and golf or tennis parties. The La Sella resort is exclusive and quiet, consisting mainly of luxury villas on a hillside and is approached by a private road and yet is fully accessible to all the local amenities in the best part of the Costa Blanca with 300 days sunshine a year.

La Sella is located near Denia in the northern Costa Blanca about half way between Valencia and Alicante. Denia is an historic market town, its roots reach back to pre-Roman times, with sophisticated shops and a cosmopoltan feel. There are several kilometers of blue flag sandy beaches at Denia and Javea which are ideal for swimming and many other watersports. There are many good value restaurants of quality with a wide range of cuisines within a few minutes drive. The area is dominated by the Montgo mountain which is a national park and has excellent walks. Inland there are extensive opportunities for mountain drives and walks in the citrus, olive and cherry groves and vineyards. This part of the Costa Blanca has an attractive mix of tourist attractions and traditional Spanish living including the famous fallas. It has over 300 days sunshine a year and has been described by the World Health Authority as the healthiest place in Europe.

  • If you like the property but it is shown as unavailable for your preferred dates please contact us anyway as we know owners of other houses for rent on the same development that may well be available.
    These rates include electricity and cleaning before and after the rental but do not include a maid service during the stay, this can be arranged at extra cost. Discounts may be possible for lets of more than 3 weeks except in July and August
  • Payment can only be made in British Pounds. A deposit of £100 per week will confirm a booking with the balance to be paid in full at least 6 weeks before the start. In addition a damage deposit of £100 is requested to pay for breakages - this will be returned (less the cost of any replacements) 2 weeks after departure.

Notes: There is a large, private roof terrace with extensive views, a smaller private terrace outside the bedrooms on the first floor and a shady seating area outside the front door, all of these overlook the pool. The tennis courts (both red clay and hard), horse riding, bar, restaurant, pharmacy and supermarket (with a fresh bakery) are located about 300 meters from the house. Children are welcome and most facilities are provided, please ask if you have any special needs. There are steps up to the house as approached from the nearest car park but almost level access can be found from an alternative parking place, however there is a final step at the front door. Although the house contains a steep internal staircase there is a downstairs bedroom and shower room/toilet. Doors are standard size. Wheelchair access is not totally impossible but would not be easy.

Golf: The nearest course is La Sella on the resort (5 mins drive) - an excellent championship 18 holes designed by Jose Olasabal and a very good test of golf. About 20 mins drive away is Oliva, also a good championship 18 holes designed by Seve, and Javea an excellent 9 holes. Less than an hour away are a further 6 courses all of good quality mainly close to Alicante and Valencia. Green fees vary according to time of year and deals may be possible but the basic level is about 50 to 80 Euros a round. Up to date handicap certificates should be taken and are asked for regularly at some clubs. Some clubs will accept bookings weeks or months in advance but others will only accept bookings a few days ahead. Buggies and trolleys are available for hire from the caddy masters and most courses will also have some clubs for hire.

Pleasantly surprised with the standards here. The shops and stables were a stones throw away and the mediterranean garden was an absolute gem.
Was a very well maintained and equiped property with even a selection of inflatables provided for the pool. As for the pools, the kids loved it and couldn't get enough.
Definately recommended !!! :o)

I stayed at this property with my husand and two children,aged 10 & 13. The house was well kept and extremely well equipped.The provision of good quality beach towels and other beach paraphanalia (parasols,snorkels etc.) was particularly welcome.The pool was lovely,clean and well maintained.The bedrooms are a good size with excellent storage.We found the ground floor living accommodation not particularly spacious. Rather busy at certain times of the day,but never overcrowded and this was at peak summer time. A car is absolutely essential as only one restaurant in walking distance.We also found the restaurant at the golf club an easy option and with good food. We found all the facilities of the resort(golf,tennis,horseriding) to be of excellent quality.The local shop is well stocked but fairly pricey - the mas y mas supermarket a short drive away is better value.

Beautiful and peaceful, well worth a visit

Stayed in this apartment with my daughter and 3 friends for a girly week of sunshine, The apartments were spot on with everything you could want in them. Private roof top terrace was a real hit in the evenings where we sat and had supper and a few quiet drinks. The apartment also supplied sunloungers, airbeds for the pool and a variety of toys for children. There is horseriding just up the road but i'm not sure how much this cost as we just wanted to relax and do nothing! There is a cafe/restaraunt just a few minutes walk up the road which serves lovely food at reasonable prices (we only ate in the cafe part not the upstairs restaraunt) Next door is a small store which stocks your everyday needs. Just a few mile along the road in la xara (I think thats what its called) there is a large supermarket where we did our shopping and got a good variety of shopping.
Owner of this villa was very friendly and helped in every way he could to make our stay as easy as possible, also pointing out restaraunts in the nearby Denia and Javea.
I would recommend the use of a car for this apartments. It is situated up in a hilly area and would be quite a long walk to go anywhere, The surroundings and views are absolutely beautiful, loads of villas set on the hills all around which look just as beautiful at night with all there lights on.
There is security on this complex, which is good, they walk round everynight just to make sure everything is ok and are also very friendly. The caretaker was also very friendly, always said hello and made a brilliant job of keeping the pool clean.
Definately recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway.

First time Spanish holiday

The villa lived up to its description. It was a lovely space to relax in with two roof terraces. It felt very private. It was a beautiful site, with great views and the sound of the waterfall during the day. It was a great place to hang out. It has a superb pool, tranquil atmosphere, great views of the mountains and a good shop, cafe and restaurant in walking distance. It was also a good base for exploring the mountains and the local sea side towns. You have a choice of rocky or sandy beaches and many good places to eat. It was easy to get to from the airport and driving locally was great as the locals are extremely courteous drivers.

The information pack that comes with the house was extremely useful, especially the list of recommended restaurants. We tried several of these and they were all great. Its unusual to go somewhere new and be in the know about the good places to go.It was my first time in Spain and the welcome pack made it very easy. I thouroughly enjoyed it. I hadn't realised how beautiful the area is, and I would definitely go back.

Fab family holiday

Our family have been to La Sella for the last 5 years as it has been perfect for our family. The kids are now 6 & 8 and they keep asking when we are going again. The house is in such a great position that when the kids are in the pool you can watch for the veranda. The pool itself never seems very busy. The house has all the things you need, even for babies. Just a 2 min walk away there is a shop for basics and fresh bakery, several tennis court with coaches and a bar/restaurant. Oh and there are stables but we haven't try those out yet.
Locally you have Denia and Javea which are great in different ways, with Denia being quite traditional and Javea more cosmopolitan, but both have lots to offer and explore.
Because of the good road links there are many places that are only a short drive away.
I highly recommend this place to anyone, for anything from relaxing for hours on end, to those that want to explore mid-Spain or be more active.
